Pisces 11: Men seeking illumination
Inspire, aspire...
Matters of spirit lie at the bottom of both inspiration and aspiration.
Everyone breaths... checking whether someone has 'expired' is commonly to check on whether there is breathing. However, in the Pisces/Virgo series beginning with the 10th degree, matters of breath... inhalation and exhalation... are highlighted.
"Men seeking illumination" can refer to those who are divinely inspired to follow their quest in life. 'Enthusiasm' means to be divinely inspired, literally filled with the breath of god. The experience is likened unto taking a deep in-breath and holding it. Now imagine the circumstances where you would do this this. In moments of awe, for example, moments of shock, fright and so on... all tend to tend to times of exclamatory 'Gasp!'
'Takes my breath away' is an expression commonly understood. Sometimes this is a very positive dynamic... divinely inspired; sometimes it is not so positive such as when one's divine spirit is sucked right out of you.
A significant number of individuals with placements in this degree and in the 12th degree that follows, would do well to mindfully emphasize the exhalation. Breath out forcefully as if playing a flute.
KEYNOTE: The capacity inherent in every individual to seek at whatever cost entrance to a transcendent realm of reality.
