SINGAPORE CHKN RICE
Extraordinary …
We have been fortunate to have enjoyed a huge number of chicken rice in Singapore hawker centers and now no longer visit. Since using this paste we’re having better than our visits. For what it’s worth we buy a few of the chicken leg/thigh packs at £1.50 and make a bouillon with onion carrot celery and parsley and use the stock with this paste (it’s not really a curry paste but a stock enrichment) and make a rice in our Zogirushi rice maker with the stock and paste and with the chicken on top. It is genuinely better (and even possibly cheaper?) than any Singapore Hainanese chicken rice we’ve had and I’ve stocked up on the paste because I’m worried they may destock it.
