crimsoncurrentMoon Phases—All waxing phases (New Moon to Full Moon) create
instinctive action. This instinctive action is caused by outside forces
(events, people).
New Moon—They operate in a spontaneous, unplanned way.
Crescent
—They are struggling out of past life patterns and inse
curities.
First Quarter—They encounter resistance and crises from the people
around them.
Gibbous—They are searching for a goal through study and analysis.
All waning phases (Full Moon to Balsamic) create conscious actions
from inside. These conscious actions are controlled by the per
son's own will.
Full Moon—They are learning to think before they act, in order to
determine how their actions will affect others. By thinking of
others, they are fulfilling karmic patterns through people.

Disseminating—They share with others what they have found to
be meaningful.
Last Quarter—They are going through crises and changes inside,
in order to reorient their thinking.
Balsamic—They are changing personal desires into group-oriented
desires or goals. From these people, something new emerges
which will benefit others. Sometimes it is only one person. The
number doesn't matter.
4. Part ofFortune
—^The house it falls in shows where they can help
overcome the difficulties of their moon phase. The affairs of that
house are important and indicate where they can use the stress
energy of their moon phase. (This is similar to a T-Square aspect,
where you look to the house with the empty leg. Ifyou work on the
affairs in the house with the empty leg, you establish a firm foun
dation for your "three-legged table.") By working on the affairs of
the house with their Part of Fortune, they can establish a firm
foundation for their moon phase emotions. In a sense, you can call
the Part of Fortune beneficial, because you will instinctively work
on the affairs of the house involved; whereas in a T-Square aspect,
you do not necessarily work on the affairs of the empty-leg house
unless something, or someone, causes you to do so.
