The Signification of Saturn in the Signes.
IF Saturn be found to be Lord of a Geniture, and well placed in the Geni∣ture, and increasing in strength, and the ☽ decreasing; he maketh men of a high Spirit; and raiseth them to great honours; seldome laughing, keeping anger long, of good counsell, faithfull, and of approv∣ed good Judgmens, performing all things with Judgment, and reason, but not caring for mariage, not affecting wives nor Chil∣dren. They are alwayes removed and

vacant, to themselves, little eaters, but great drinkers: for the Corporature of their bodies, they are Slender, pale, and wan, an ilfavoured countenance, great ears, and thick lips, thick hard haire, a small heart, a little breast, of nature cold, alwayes some malignant humour daily offending them, and are very much afflict∣ed with some inward greife as the colick daily belching and breaking of wind.
For the most part they are malicious, leading a laborious solicitous and carefull life, full of daily griefs and imployed about the water or leading their lives in watery places.
But if ♄ be Lord of the Geniture and in his own house, or in his Tearms; or in the house of ♃ or in his tearmes; or in the house of the ☉: and if the nativity be by day, he maketh the native famous and Noble in his life, giving him much pow∣er and felicity.
But if he be in the house of ♂ or in the terms of ♂, or in the house of the ☽, he maketh the native, of a sorrowfull, labori∣ous, humble, sordid; and inglorious life, and daily afflicted with sorrow. And these evils shall be stronger, if it be a noct∣urnall Geniture; and if the ☽ be decreasing

in light, then the hair of his head is very thin, or he will be much deformed by baldness, and such persons are much sub∣ject to be suddenly taken with blindnesse, or losse of their sight, through some flux of Rehume; he also signifies plurisies Dropsies, Gout, Falling-Sicknesse, Crump, Convulsion-fits, especially if the Lord of the Geniture be afflicted; and ill placed, or impedited by any ill Aspect of the ☽. But if he be placed with any benevolent Stars beairng rule and strong, he bringeth those benefits and preferments before spoken of: and maketh a good Physitian. But if Aries be placed with any evil Star, these evils he increaseth with much calamity; he commonly causeth long life, and sick∣nesse through vicious humors. They commonly live in moist watery pla∣ces, or in secret hidden places.
If ♌ be in the house or Termes of ☿ he maketh wicked persons, witches, perjured, haters of their Brethern and parents.
