crimsoncurrentThis Full Moon creates a Grand Cross in Cardinal Signs. A Grand Cross is two oppositions and 4 Squares. The Opposition speaks of the binary nature of existence and demands that we deal face on with some aspect of our life or ourselves that needs to be rebalanced and changed in some way. A Square always demands action be taken, the authenticity of which is to be judged in how it manifests in the material world. With a Grand Cross, ruminating and recalibrating viewpoints is not enough. It must also and that it must show that it is so that an authentic materialization. The term ‘ Cross of Matter’ gives us more than a clue as to the nature of such a configuration.
The Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are the great initiators of the zodiac. The challenge is to find the right idea, the right action and the right reason. Are we using the self centred will of the immature personality, or the higher Will to do Good as our motivating force? With cardinal signs in play, this question is worth asking.
The Full Moon is a stellium of Chiron in Aries 21 and Moon/Eris at Aries 24 opposite Sun/Juno Libra 24.
With the nodes moving through Aries and Libra and the last eclipse all focusing on ‘me’ versus ‘you and me’ this Full Moon gives me the sense that some of the lessons we have been learning are coming home to roost. It is a time of culmination. The story has been told and finally you get to understand, who did what when and why of it. Or at the very least, you may feel a lightening of your load. Or your loaded issues around your own empowerment and the ways in which you give it away or take it away from others.

Eris is presently known in a number of guises, from Agent of Chaos to Spiritual Warrior. Whatever the good, bad and ugly of Eris she is definitely a force that brings the truth of any situation, or relationship, to light. Usually via a disruption of the status quo. So be prepared. If there is a Truth ready to be revealed, it will be.
Facilitating this sacred (if at times difficult) process we have another opposition of Pluto at the end of Capricorn opposing Mars in Cancer. This a clash of the Titans. If what one wants (or think you want) Mars, is at odds with the chthonic forces of Earth and Sky (Pluto) we may suffer the inevitability of being steam rolled into facing whatever it is that we have avoided for so long. Take heart that, in doing so, liberation into a great Light and a more loving heart is the reward that awakes.
