Core Symbol: Boys and girls in gymnasium suits.

Themes:
Physical Vitality and Youth: Focuses on the body, exercise, and the joy of physical activity, especially among youth. It emphasizes health, spontaneity, and community through sport.

Stripping to Essentials: The gymnasium suits symbolize simplicity and readiness for action, with a playful nod to “bare necessities” and potential sexual undertones (e.g., conception anxieties).

Play and Discipline: Highlights the balance between carefree play (gambol, gaming) and the need for discipline to prevent bullying or unfair competition.

Social Dynamics: Encourages fair play and inclusivity, recognizing everyone’s unique talents.

Tone: Grounded, social, and practical, with a focus on physical well-being and societal values.

Themes:
Unearthing the Past: Like the Chandra Symbol, it focuses on discovering ancient remnants, but with a heavier emphasis on karmic backlog and the soul’s record.

Redemptive Work: Hard work toward a barely glimpsed goal can lead to something great, provided one embraces direct experience over preconceptions.

Tension Between Past and Future: The past weighs heavily, preventing the future from dawning unless transformative effort is made.

Tone: Intense, karmic, and introspective, with a sense of burden and potential redemption.

Unique Elements: A darker, more oppressive interpretation compared to the Chandra Symbol, with a focus on karmic weight and the struggle for freedom through effort.

Letting Go (Yud Yud Lamed)

Angel: YEIALEL (YAY-a-LEL) Mental Force

Capricorn 16. An invisible skull reveals a living human brain, its surface flickering with rainbows. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Experimental

(Degree Angel: Jabamiah (ya-BA-mee-YAH) Recognizing Design Beneath Disorder, Alchemy, Transformation)

Seeing beyond the opaqueness and density of the physical realm we encounter a spiritual level replete with free-form, flowing beauty. This degree's imagination is fueled by that realm. The most difficult thing for it to do is to find a way to express this in physical form. The necessity for a creative outlet is very great, and the only way to find this is through experimentation.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Dinosaur bones discovered while digging.” This degree unearths what is ancient. It is the revealer of a greater reality. This often happens by accident – it just seems to be magnetized to hidden things which can can greatly expand our understanding of our own past and of who we really are. It can be inspired to do wonderful things with these findings, but is far more likely to be able to make the most of these treasures if it can let go of all former assumptions and allow its finer sensitivities to track with the flowering of new paradigms.

Pleiadian Symbol: Dancers sweating and stripping off clothes as they work out.

Azoth Symbol: A witch giving someone an apple from her orchard which is imbued with health-enhancing properties.

Seed degree: Libra 10. A ginseng root in the shape of a human being. (Omega Symbol). The desire to completely heal the self carries us eventually into the realization that the key to doing so lies in our imagination and our ability to work with the Light.

A hand with perfectly manicured long nails. (Chandra Symbol). To pursue the desire for personal beauty leads us eventually to see the deep and ancient motives behind this.

Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 24. Although he is afraid of heights, a man continues to ascend a flight of invisible stairs. (Omega Symbol). To become in full contact with our imagination gives us a faith that supports us in reaching toward the divine.

Stalactites and stalagmites almost grown together. (Chandra Symbol). To dig deeply into the past eventually leads to realizingthe connection between our heights and our depths.

Sabian Oracle - Lynda Hill
Capricorn 16 - 6 January 2025
This Symbol asks whether you’ve been neglecting your physical well-being of late. Now is a good time to reestablish an affinity with your body and your vitality. Spontaneous enthusiasm and the joy of being truly “alive” and youthful can regenerate and revive and bring about carefree contact with like-minded people. Nourishing the body with good nutrition, being in the outdoors, enjoying the company of others and the competition of sport can enliven everyone’s spirits. Physical exercise is a necessary part of the education of young people’s minds and bodies. Giving youth the opportunity to learn how to play sport and the benefits of the concepts of “fair play” amongst their peers leads to a healthy society. However, discipline may need to be brought into this situation. Children picking on others for things such as not being clever physically, or not having a perfect body, etc., should be discouraged as everyone has their own special talents and needs. With this Symbol, there can be a form of “conscription” where one has to wear a uniform when they may not want to.

Capricorn 16: Boys and girls in gymnasium suits
Bare necessities...

Capricorn 16 may be a symbol that leads to anxieties in parents of teenage children. It could be expressive of the kind of sport and play that leads to little babies being conceived.

The idea is to get things stripped down to the bare essentials... attire suitable for the activity at hand, or, attire-less for the sport and gambol of youth.

Some odd threads of sense: Gambol derives from root words meaning to dance, to skip, to leap... essentially to play in a manner that involves spirited use of the legs such as young fillies frolicking in the fields to stretch their legs (gams).

The word sense continues in kinship with gambling, to play a game, gaming, and play... game as a noun for something played, or 'game' as in a plucky disposition up for fun of a risky sort.

The fun continues through resonance with germ and 'gamete' a mature cell able to unite with another in sexual reproduction.

CAPRICORN 16
Dinosaur bones discovered while digging.
Purpose marks the spot. A mixed-up approach. Fusing together components that do not match. Doggedly pursuing straight intent, yet you're wide open, unwittingly, to whatever will show you a different picture. Tremendous karmic backlog. Oppressive and detailed. The soul's record kept strictly in mind--there's no freedom here. The future does not dawn. However, redemptive hard work is immensely powerful, harnessed as what must be done to achieve a goal you've barely glimpsed. Something great is possible if all assumptions are cast away and the direct evidence of deep experience becomes centrally there.
