Overview of Degree InterpretationsThe Sun at 01°04' Virgo falls within the 1°-2° range of Virgo (commonly referred to as the 2nd degree in systems like Sabian symbols, where 1° Virgo corresponds to 0°00'-0°59' and 2° Virgo to 1°00'-1°59'). Below, I've compiled the provided interpretations from various astrologers and systems, and added those from Nikola Stojanovic's degree theory and James Burgess's zodiac degree work. Stojanovic's theory assigns specific meanings to degree numbers across all signs, with 2° linked to Taurus influences and themes of "supreme power, greatness, or large buildings," often manifesting as elevated status, wealth, or structural achievements, but tempered by the sign's energy (here, Virgo's analytical precision).

James Burgess reinterprets Sabian symbols with a focus on spiritual and psychological growth, framing Virgo 2° (Large White Cross) as an "awakening to sacredness," emphasizing contrast, expansion through conviction, and a shift toward perceiving deeper holiness in life.

For clarity, here's a summarized list of all interpretations:Carelli (1-2° Virgo): Great abstract intelligence, versatility, methodical mind, gifts for military/math sciences; dry, cool nature prone to apathy, stubbornness, atheism/agnosticism; potential miserable/roaming life unless balanced by Water/Fire elements.
Bardon (2° Virgo): Protector of inventions in the Akasha principle; inspires or delays realizations of ideas; reveals future inventions under secrecy to favored individuals.
Chandra (Virgo 2°): Man hanging upside down from a tree; detached from ego, aligned with greater laws; acts as a pure truth vessel, observing divine will prevail over distortion.
Charubel (1-2° Virgo? implied): Man peeping at armed men reconnoitering; denotes a strategist suited for army or other fields, though traits may seem unenviable.
Henson (1-2° Virgo): Music, firmness; strategist with critical, penetrating, orderly mind; great endurance, firm convictions; may depart from orthodox religion; photography; rules upper intestinal areas.
Janduz (1° Virgo): Man and woman on a rock in desert; honest, stable, serious; precise mathematical thinking, theoretical approach; success in metaphysics/science/arts; cold, passive, sticks to routine, risking stasis/bad luck.
Kozminsky (1-2° Virgo): Waning moon in half-clear/half-cloudy sky; considerable ability but later difficulties/trouble; advises caution, avoiding speculation/deceit; symbol of threatenings.
Leinbach (1-2° Virgo): Strategist with mental plans for social interactions; clever/naive, outgoing, friendly (genuine or ulterior); skilled at being life of party; adds mental cleverness to spotlight-seeking.
Muir (1-2° Virgo): Inclined to neglect business for pleasurable study until compelled by circumstances to earn a livelihood.
Sabian (Virgo 2°): Large white cross dominates landscape; wisdom/compassion from suffering/isolation; requires ego "crucifixion" for detachment; liberating ordeal leading to initiation and higher participation.
Weber (1-2° Virgo): Scattered, self-righteous with Sagittarius/Cancer influences causing problems; firm, critical mastermind; musician/composer, excellent in math/theory; impatient/irritable, often overlooked for promotions; periodic health checks needed.
Nikola Stojanovic (2° any sign, applied to Virgo): Ruled by Taurus; degree of supreme power, greatness, or large buildings; confers potential for elevated status, enduring structures, or significant achievements, blended with Virgo's detail-oriented, service-focused energy—may manifest as powerful analytical roles or building lasting systems/institutions.
James Burgess (Virgo 2°): Awakening to sacredness (based on Large White Cross Sabian); contrasting principle within "conviction" expression; expands through recognizing holiness, leading to deeper spiritual awareness and principled growth.

SimilaritiesThe interpretations share several overlapping themes, often clustering around intellectual prowess, strategic thinking, detachment/spirituality, and potential challenges. These can be grouped as follows:Intellectual and Strategic Gifts: A strong emphasis on mental acuity, precision, and strategy appears in many (Carelli: abstract intelligence, military/math; Charubel: strategist for army; Henson: strategist with critical/orderly mind; Leinbach: mental plans for social interaction; Janduz: precise mathematical thinking; Weber: mastermind excellent in math/theory; Nikola: power/greatness via structured achievements). This suggests a core Virgoan theme of analytical, methodical problem-solving amplified at this degree, often with a tactical or inventive edge (Bardon: protector of inventions).
Firmness, Endurance, and Convictions: Traits like steadfastness, firmness, and strong beliefs recur (Carelli: endurance bordering on stubbornness; Henson: firmness, great endurance, firm convictions; Janduz: stable, serious; Weber: firm mastermind; Nikola: greatness/large buildings implying enduring structures). This points to resilience but with risks of rigidity.
Detachment, Spirituality, or Higher Awareness: Several highlight a shift beyond ego toward deeper truths or sacredness (Chandra: out of phase with ego, truth vessel observing divine will; Sabian: detachment via suffering, liberating ordeal; James Burgess: awakening to sacredness; Carelli: atheism/agnosticism as a form of detached reckoning; Henson: departure from orthodox religion). This creates a spiritual undercurrent, where isolation or ordeal leads to wisdom/compassion.
Potential for Challenges or Negativity: Warnings of difficulties, apathy, or threats are common (Carelli: apathy, fatalistic indolence, miserable life; Kozminsky: later troubles, threatenings, caution needed; Janduz: coldness, passivity, stasis causing bad luck; Weber: scattered, impatient, overlooked promotions, health issues; Muir: neglect of business until compelled). Health or bodily concerns also echo (Henson: upper intestinal; Weber: health checks).
Creative or Observational Elements: Subtle nods to arts, observation, or innovation (Henson: music, photography; Weber: musician/composer; Bardon: inspiring inventions; Chandra: fair witness; Charubel: peeping/reconnoitering).

Overall, the degree portrays a mentally sharp, enduring individual with strategic potential, but one who may grapple with emotional coldness, spiritual detachment, or external threats, leading to growth through adversity. The blend of practical (Virgo/Taurus in Nikola) and transcendent (Chandra, Sabian, Burgess) elements suggests a duality between worldly power and inner awakening.DifferencesWhile similarities highlight mental and resilient themes, differences arise in tone (positive vs. negative), focus (mundane vs. esoteric), and outcomes (success vs. ordeal). These can be categorized:Tone and Outcome: Some are optimistic or empowering (Nikola: supreme power/greatness; Leinbach: skilled socialite, life of party; Bardon: inspirer of inventions; Chandra: aligned with greater laws, divine awareness), while others are cautionary or bleak (Carelli: apathy, miserable life; Kozminsky: threatenings, difficulties; Janduz: stasis/bad luck; Muir: forced to earn after neglect). This splits between potential for achievement (e.g., Nikola's power, Henson's endurance) and risks of downfall (e.g., Weber's impatience/overlooked).
Focus Areas: Mental/Practical: Carelli, Janduz, Weber, Henson, Leinbach, Charubel emphasize intellect, math, strategy, or social tactics in everyday life.
Esoteric/Spiritual: Bardon (Akasha inventions), Chandra (upside-down detachment), Sabian (ego crucifixion, initiation), James Burgess (sacred awakening) lean toward mystical or karmic dimensions.
Symbolic/Warning: Kozminsky (stormy threats), Muir (neglect for study) are more allegorical or lifestyle-oriented.
Health/Body: Henson and Weber uniquely tie to physical areas (intestines, periodic checks), adding a somatic layer absent elsewhere.

Elemental or Influential Modifiers: Carelli specifies elemental corrections (Water/Fire to balance dryness); Nikola adds Taurus rulership (earthly power/stability); Weber introduces Sagittarius/Cancer influences (scattered problems). These vary the "flavor," with no unified system—e.g., Bardon's occult secrecy contrasts Leinbach's sociable cleverness.
Scope and Application: Broader societal/power themes in Nikola (large buildings, greatness) differ from personal introspection in Chandra/Sabian/Burgess or professional aptitudes in Charubel/Henson. Bardon stands out as uniquely future-oriented (delaying inventions for centuries).

In summary, the degree evokes a strategist-inventor archetype with intellectual gifts and enduring conviction, but interpretations diverge on whether this leads to worldly power (Nikola), spiritual liberation (Chandra, Sabian, Burgess), or personal pitfalls (Carelli, Kozminsky). The Virgo essence of analysis and service unifies them, yet the range reflects diverse astrological traditions—from practical (Carelli, Janduz) to symbolic (Sabian, Chandra) and modern (Nikola).

On day of wife Princess Diana's death -

20 degrees 50 minutes Aquarius in natal chart.

then peruse King Charles's natal chart and imagine a phantom clock dial working its way around the circumference whilst slowly ticking its way through the trials and tribulations of life, the peaks and troughs until it finally slows and stops on its fated and final destination.. Or does it? many astrologers say the natal chart continues working ad infinitum whilst keeping a beady eye on earthly events below and that this is shown through various transits, etc...astrologers like Jessica Adams. Do I look at my Grandfathers chart? No I don't even look at my own chart..I'm strictly a mundane astrologer, hence here I am on the only truly mundane astrology site ably captained by our saviour, Dan.

And so in this case the phantom dial/hand moves round to square the King's Sun from the 8th house cusp it is just about to move from the 7th house (partner/wife) to ingress the 8th house cusp (death/resources) and this at the very precise time what is a sad event about to resound throughout the world, to remains burnished in my memory amd that of many others. It seems like yesterday.

The interpretation of the natal chart speaks for itself but there is more - the event itself (on 21-22 AQ) lands on Sun-Kronos (Crown) in the 90 Dial.

A large collection of midpoints incl. outer planets particularly Uranus but two stick out for pure relevance, one is Saturn/Asc obviously and more poignantly - Venus-Vulcanos which does indicate some unexpected affection here.

MARRIAGE TO CAMILLA

To get the Event Point I usually question AI ie. A natal chart has 12 houses. One house = 7 years exactly. At age 56 his 9th house cusp was at 13.46 Pisces and at age 63 his 10th cusp was at13.25 Aries. At what degree is he when aged 56years, 5 months, and 22 days old.

Degree is 15 degrees 45 minutes Pisces, rounded off to 16 Pisces 'the Flow of Inspiration' a healing and largely positive degree in which the person can finally 'be himself'. It aspects the emotional natal Moon comfortably residing in Taurus. However its a controversial wedding as many of the public still have find memories of Diana. And this I expect explains the prescence of ASC/HADES

Unpleasant acquaintances. Put under stress by others. Others are in need. Others resign, refuse, or are unable.

Despite the catcalls Love wins out though -

VENUS/PLUTO
Considerate. Thinking of the well-being of others. Beginning, harmonious development of love and affection. Development of a wish, of a hope.

90 DIAL CHARTS

planetary figure is an event that occurs when a planet passes over a midpoint. There is then an assembly of three planets: the energy of the two stars that form the midpoint and the energy of the third that receives all of this and will generate a result. A technique that is not customary in traditional astrology but which reveals a precision never acquired until now with the usual techniques.

And it doesn't end there, because even the sky charts used are not identical in both methods. In traditional astrology, we use so-called "360°" charts, that is, they represent the 360° of the sky (visible and invisible beneath our feet) with, all around, the signs of the Zodiac, the Houses, the planets, and in the center the different aspects colored.

In Uranian Astrology, we do not use these charts because they do not allow a good view of the midpoints or the precise position of the planets. Instead, we use charts invented by Ludwig Rudolph, one of Alfred Witte's students, which are called "90°" charts, and which represent a kind of zoom, a magnification of a traditional chart, in order to see the planetary positions precisely and in detail.

This chart corresponds to a sort of fourfolding of a traditional wheel (this is also why it is called a “Harmonic 4”). All the planets present in cardinal signs ( A , D , G and a ) are found in the first 30 degrees of the wheel, all the planets in fixed signs ( B , E , H and K ) in the following 30 degrees, and the planets in mutable signs ( C , F , I and L ) are found in the last 30 degrees of the wheel. Thus, a planet at 10° A and another at 10° D will find themselves in conjunction on a 90° wheel since they both inhabit a cardinal sign. To learn how to mount your own 90° wheel, here is an explanatory video:

The only thing Uranian Astrology and traditional astrology truly have in common? The planets? Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. But also? The Ascendant, of course, but whose meaning is different here. The Midheaven, too, although the meaning is also altered here...

But even more! In Uranian Astrology, we use so-called “trans-Neptunian” planets that science has not yet discovered (observations are difficult and it is even possible that they do not exist materially speaking) but that the research of Alfred Witte and his student Friedrich Sieggrün was able to detect with tremendous efficiency.

There are 8 of them, they bear the names of : Cupid 9 , Hades : , Kronos < , Zeus ; , Apollo = , Admetus > , Vulcan ? and Poseidon @ and take us into a precision of reading hitherto unequalled in astrology.

9 : < ; = > ? @

Also, in Uranian Astrology, we know that the broad outlines of our life are already written in our birth chart. Thus, its reading will already serve as a forecast. In Uranian Astrology, exit the debate of the “tropical zodiac vs. fixed sidereal zodiac vs. sidereal zodiac with consideration of the variable size of the constellations”. While in traditional astrology, these three currents happily fight each other, each swearing to be right, Uranian Astrology escapes to the side to prove its effectiveness outside of all the disagreements so dear to these other practices.

In summary, what is the similarity between traditional astrology and Uranian Astrology? Only one: the postulate that “ as above, so below .” Except that Uranian Astrology also adds that “ as above, so below… but also to the right and to the left! ” 😉

And what can we expect from Uranian Astrology then? Well, pretty much everything. Reading the birth chart to find qualities and flaws, the life path, upcoming challenges, strengths and weaknesses, but also drawing up predictions and horoscopes, studying the different areas of life (love, finances, work, health, family, etc.), carrying out readings of couples' or partners' charts... with Uranian Astrology, all questions are possible!

Here's how it works.

A Weekly chart begins on Sunday.

The 2nd house = Monday

3rd house = Tuesday and so on up to Saturday (7th house).

If something happens at 12 Noon it will be in the MIDDLE of the house.

Another example

Here Pluto at 4 AQ gives thoughtlessness..someone who being subjectively by ''whats in his/her head'' unaware either innocently or purposely of his environment/culture/normality. In other words ignoring the outside world and its hubbub.

10th Ruler
public reputation, making it vulnerable to scrutiny, criticism, or scandals, especially if poorly aspected. Missteps in career or leadership can lead to public shaming
