PELICANS DISTURBED BY THE
GARBAGE OF PEOPLE MOVE THEIR
YOUNG TO A NEW HABITAT
Commentary: ‘Pelicans Disturbed By the Garbage of People
Move Their Young to a New Habitat’. ‘Pelicans’ in Christian art
are a symbol of charity; they are also an emblem of Jesus Christ
by “whose blood we are healed’”. This comes from the myth that
‘Pelicans’ feed their young with their blood which arose from
the fact that the parent ‘Pelican’ transfers softened food from the
large bag under its bill to its ‘Young’.
Oracle: This Symbol often pictures the realization that conditions
are changing and you, your family (and sometimes friends) don’t
feel safe and secure in your environment. You may need to move
to a new situation that can provide a better way of life with more
nourishment and less danger. This can also refer to an inner
withdrawal from situations that feel threatening or unsure. It can
be a case of having to leave homes, places or people that have
outlived their usefulness or relevance in your life. A change of
heart and mind can lead to new beginnings, with the past being
left behind. Pollution or ‘Garbage’ on any level can lead to a sense
of unease in one’s environment and the fear of how one can
cope in the future. There may be a need to actually pick up one’s
possessions and move out of the path of some form of danger. If
your environment is “polluted” by negative people, attitudes or
some other form of debilitation or ‘Garbage’, is it worth staying
there? Are threats being taken seriously enough? This “danger”
can manifest on any level; physical, emotional or spiritual. It can
erupt as psychic or emotional outbursts that can be threatening
or toxic; rubbish that is difficult to contain, manage or maneuver
around. If you don’t feel safe in your environment, how can you
expect you and yours to grow and flourish?

Keywords: Concerns with survival. The endeavor to achieve
mental, physical or emotional well-being or peace. Noise and
other irritants that make life difficult. Looking out for the safety
and security of one’s children, home or creative ventures. Feeling
unsafe. Conditions being insecure and unpredictable. Having
nowhere to rest.
The Caution: Mess and rubbish left around. Not being prepared
to compromise or cohabit. People not being able to live together.
Fouling of one’s nest. Things are being done “for your own good”
regardless of what you want. Noise driving people out. Leases

A GANG OF ROBBERS IN HIDING
Commentary: A ‘Gang of Robbers in Hiding’ is an image of
people, possibly hidden in the shadows, waiting to take advantage
of someone or something. The ‘Robbers’ are watching and waiting
for the appropriate time to come out into the light of day, or it
just might feel as though they are.
Oracle: In your situation, you may feel that you have been
wronged or something has been taken from you. At the moment,
however, because the ‘Robbers are In Hiding’ there is probably
little or no way of finding out who or what is the cause. Check if
you are exposing yourself to being taken advantage of or attacked
in some way. Be careful not to get confused between reality
and paranoia. You could spend your time searching for the real
perpetrators, however a better solution may be to get on with
your life, whilst being mindful that something could go awry.
Perhaps an “authority” of some kind needs to come into play, to
sort things through, to ensure future safety and get life back on
track. This person can be an external party who’s in charge and
powerful in some way, or it can be your own sense of authority
that needs to sort out the facts of what’s really going on. Whatever
happens in this situation, things will most probably come to light
at a later time. This Symbol can point to delusions of someone’s
thought processes. Make sure that there is no undermining of
faith in others by indulging in suspicions that are ungrounded in
reality. Locking out life can lead to feelings of being a prisoner
or result in alienation from others. Sometimes one has to “break
a window” to allow the light to get in. The solution may lie in
taking control of your emotional, mental and physical realities.
If you merely react in a vulnerable and defenseless way, what is
there to deter the ‘Robbers’ from taking advantage of you?
Keywords: Gaining unfair advantage. Robbers and thieves.
Spying. The cold war. Big business ripping off the “little guy”.
People appearing to be something that they are not. Con-men
mentality. Holding up proceedings. Mental attitudes that sabotage,
restrict or control. The need for light. Voyeurism. Gangs. Private
detectives. Ambushes.
The Caution: Gaining unfair advantage at someone else’s
expense. Finding it hard to trust anything. Difficult hidden energy
that may erupt into consciousness. Feeling that someone is going
to “get” you. Hiding in the shadows. Locks and shutters that
prevent true relationship. Unbalanced mental states. Paranoia.
Distrusting life.

Libra 19. An innovative dancer performing a strange ballet. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Responsible
(Degree Angel: Mebahiah (me-BA-hee-YAH) Thought Into Action, Intellectual Lucidity)

This degree is aware of the potentials that lie within itself and all of us, and strives to find ways of expressing these that go beyond words. The regularization and standardization of expression can weaken its impact, but when new forms of it are found it can wake the being up to a startling and vivid realization of the pure essence of what is being expressed.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Young boys picking and eating cherries off a tree.” In both these symbols fun is being had, but this degree signifies much more than just having fun. The cherries are nourishing, and the dance is allowing the release of pent up energies that clear and refresh the being. This is a Libra degree of Libra and so carries the quality of Libra doubled. It is also the 17th time a degree sub-ruled by Libra has occurred, 17 being the number of Venus. And so here is a pure and beautiful relating just for the sake of relating that touches us in delightful ways that creates an unwinding of energies which have restricted us, and a reconnection to the inner child.

Pleiadian Symbol: Gypsies holding secret rites at a spring deep in a cave.

Azoth Symbol: A glowing wreath of golden laurel leaves.

Seed degree: Scorpio 13. An acupuncturist who activates points simply by holding a needle above them. (Omega Symbol). Using our intent to move energy opens up new and exciting possibilities of communication.

Someone tells a joke and no one laughs. (Chandra Symbol). When one form of fun doesn't seem to catch on, we find other forms that people can more readily relate to.

Fulfillment degree: Libra 17. The unwrapping of a mummy. (Omega Symbol). Allowing ourselves free, creative, and expressive movement, we unravel the obstructions of our pain body

A very bored woman who is listening but falling asleep. (Chandra Symbol). Staying attuned to that which is simply fun and enjoyable assists us in the rejecting of all meaningless involvements.

Oracle

A dance choreographed for eyeballs, and fingers, and the muscles which cause the hair to stand on end. Jagged, spastic movements help to break the ice and loosen old concepts. It includes glances, running down mountains, and the herding of scarves through wind. Inwardly the troupe of blood corpuscles help to give it a sense of flow, and return. At the end the heart claps wildly.

19° Aries: This degree falls in the second decan of Aries (10°–19°59'59"), influenced by the Sun (in the Leo-ruled decan), adding vitality, creativity, and a drive for self-expression to Aries’ fiery nature. It’s also a cardinal degree, emphasizing action and initiation.

Sun’s Exaltation: The Sun is exalted at 19° Aries, meaning its energy is considered strongest and most favorable here, amplifying qualities like confidence, leadership, and purpose. This was noted in a post on X: “The Sun is exalted in Aries… specifically at 19 degrees Aries,” highlighting its potency for expressing personal goals and vision.

Known Interpretations of 19° Aries
1. Sabian Symbol: “A Magic Carpet Hovers Over the Depressing Reality of Everyday Life in an Industrial Area”
Source: Marc Edmund Jones (Sabian Symbols, 1925) and Lynda Hill (www.sabiansymbols.com) (www.sabiansymbols.com).

Interpretation:
Positive: This symbol suggests transcendence, imagination, and the ability to rise above mundane or oppressive circumstances. It evokes a sense of freedom, adventure, and spiritual or creative escape, like a magic carpet offering a panoramic view of possibilities. It reflects the potential to transform reality through vision and inspiration, aligning with the Sun’s exalted energy at this degree.

Negative: Detachment from practical responsibilities or scorn for everyday life, leading to escapism or unrealistic expectations.

Key Themes: Visionary thinking, spiritual elevation, creative problem-solving, and breaking free from limitations.

Formula (Saijin): “Manipulating-critical-original-generalizing-physical-responsible,” indicating a dynamic, innovative approach to overcoming challenges.

Related Symbols (from Sabian Symbol study):
Karmic Symbol (Aries 18°): “An empty hammock hangs between two lovely trees,” suggesting a need for rest or reflection before the action of 19° Aries.

Quest Symbol (Aries 20°): “A young girl feeding birds in winter,” emphasizing nurturing and compassion as a next step.

Opposite Symbol (Libra 19°): “A gang of robbers in hiding,” highlighting conflict or hidden opposition.

Tension Symbols: Cancer 19° (marriage of tradition and youth), Capricorn 19° (child with groceries), and others in the 5-pointed star pattern (e.g., Virgo 13°, Scorpio 25°).

Application: In a natal chart, a planet at 19° Aries may indicate someone who seeks to transcend limitations through creativity or leadership, but they must balance idealism with practicality. In transits, this degree may signal a time to envision new possibilities.

2. Chandra Symbol: “A Skeleton Playing a Flute”
Source: Ellias Lonsdale, Inside Degrees (1997).

Interpretation:
This symbol evokes a stark, essential energy—stripping life to its bones while still creating music. It suggests resilience, creativity in adversity, and the ability to find beauty or expression in minimal circumstances.

Key Themes: Authenticity, minimalism, confronting core truths, and transforming limitations into art. The skeleton reflects Aries’ raw, unadorned energy, while the flute aligns with the Sun’s exalted creativity.

Context: Lonsdale’s work with Chandra Symbols (developed with John Sandbach) emphasizes spiritual and archetypal insights, often piercing “the veil” to reveal the essence of each degree. This symbol complements the Sabian’s theme of transcendence by focusing on inner essence over external constraints.

Application: A planet at 19° Aries with this symbol may indicate a person who thrives in challenging conditions, using creativity to express fundamental truths. In transits, it may highlight a period of stripping away superficiality to focus on what’s essential.

3. Degree Theory (Nikola Stojanovic):
Source: Nikola Stojanovic’s Degree Theory, as interpreted by astrologers like Lisa Stardust and AstroNiki.

Interpretation:
Each degree is associated with the energy of a zodiac sign, counting sequentially (1° = Aries, 2° = Taurus, ..., 12° = Pisces, then repeating). The 19° of any sign corresponds to Libra energy.

Libra Degree Characteristics: Relationships, harmony, balance, diplomacy, beauty, partnerships, and negotiation. At 19° Aries, this adds a relational or aesthetic dimension to Aries’ assertive nature, suggesting someone who pursues goals with charm or seeks balance in their initiatives.

Example: A Sun at 19° Aries may express Aries’ boldness but with a Libran flair for collaboration or fairness, aligning with the Sun’s exalted leadership that inspires others.

Application: In a natal chart, a planet at 19° Aries may blend Aries’ drive with Libra’s focus on partnerships or aesthetics. In transits, it may indicate a time to balance personal goals with relational harmony.

4. Traditional Degree Interpretations:
Source: Astrology Encyclopedia (1925, adjusted for 2002 precession), www.astrologyweekly.com.[](https://www.astrologyweekly.com/dictionary/aries-individual-degrees.php) (http://www.astrologyweekly.com.[](https://www.astrologyweekly.com/dictionary/aries-individual-degrees.php))

Interpretation:
Exaltation of Sun, Fall of Saturn: 19° Aries is explicitly noted as the degree of the Sun’s exaltation, enhancing vitality, confidence, and leadership. Conversely, it’s the fall of Saturn, suggesting challenges with structure, discipline, or authority when expressed negatively.

Fortunate Degree: Described as a “fortunate degree,” implying positive outcomes for planets placed here, especially those aligned with the Sun’s qualities.

Specific Meaning: “Exaltation of Sun: Fall of Saturn; a Fortunate Degree.” This degree is associated with success, recognition, and the ability to shine, but Saturn’s fall warns against rigidity or overcontrol.

Application: A planet at 19° Aries in a natal chart may amplify success and charisma but requires flexibility to avoid Saturnian pitfalls. In transits, it’s a powerful degree for initiating projects or stepping into leadership roles.

5. Aries Individual Degrees (Symbolic Interpretation):
Source: www.arieszodiac.net, via Astrology Encyclopedia.

Interpretation:
“Someone performing trephination”: This vivid symbol suggests a radical intervention to release pressure or access deeper consciousness. Trephination (drilling into the skull) symbolizes breaking through mental or emotional barriers, aligning with Aries’ bold, pioneering spirit.

Key Themes: Radical transformation, releasing past patterns, and embracing new possibilities. It reflects the Sun’s exalted energy by clearing obstacles to self-expression.

Detailed Insight: “The head densely holds the patterns of the past as fixed routes… A radical departure into the infinite unknown becomes the only way to go. As the ego-mind no longer bears the authority to command and dictate and coerce, vision is released, awareness becomes visceral, everything lights up directly.”

Application: In a natal chart, this degree suggests a person who transforms through bold, unconventional means. In transits, it may indicate a time to break free from mental constraints and embrace new perspectives.

6. Other Degree Systems:
Charubel Symbol: While not directly quoted for 19° Aries in the provided sources, Charubel’s symbols (used by Lonsdale) often align with spiritual or mystical themes. If available, this would add another layer of esoteric meaning, likely emphasizing inner transformation or divine inspiration, given the Sun’s exaltation.

Azoth Symbols or Other Esoteric Systems: Less documented, but some astrologers use additional symbol sets. These would likely reinforce themes of leadership, creativity, or transcendence, given the degree’s prominence.

Connection to Planetary Harmonics
Since you’re interested in John E. Greig’s Planetary Harmonics (as implemented in Astrocalc), let’s explore how 19° Aries might relate to your Sun Planetary Harmonic Chart (with your Sun at 22°43' Aquarius). In Greig’s method, a harmonic number is derived from the base planet’s position (your Sun at 322.7167°) and applied to other planets to create a new chart. Here’s how 19° Aries might appear in this context:
Sun’s Exaltation at 19° Aries: If your Sun Planetary Harmonic Chart places a planet at 19° Aries, it would carry the exalted Sun’s energy—leadership, vitality, and vision—amplified by the harmonic transformation. For example, if the Moon’s harmonic position lands at 19° Aries, it might emphasize emotional expression through bold, creative outlets.

Calculating for 19° Aries: To check if any planet falls at 19° Aries (49° in the zodiac) in your harmonic chart, we’d need:
Your full natal chart (other planets’ positions).

The harmonic number (previously assumed as 2, based on your Sun at 322.7167° ÷ 180° ≈ 2).

Example: If your natal Moon is at 24.5° (hypothetical), multiply by 2 → 49° = 19° Aries. This would place the Moon at 19° Aries in the harmonic chart, carrying the Sabian/Chandra meanings above.

Interpretation: A planet at 19° Aries in your Sun Planetary Harmonic Chart would highlight the Sun’s exalted qualities (confidence, creativity) in that planet’s domain, filtered through the Sabian symbol’s transcendence or the Chandra symbol’s resilience.

Without your full natal chart, I can’t calculate the exact harmonic positions, but 19° Aries in this chart would suggest a powerful focal point for self-expression and breaking free from limitations, aligning with Greig’s emphasis on historical and transformative insights.
Synthesis of 19° Aries Interpretations
Core Themes:
Leadership and Vitality: The Sun’s exaltation at 19° Aries makes this a degree of radiant self-expression, confidence, and initiative.

Transcendence: The Sabian Symbol’s magic carpet and Chandra Symbol’s skeleton flute both emphasize rising above limitations through creativity, vision, or authenticity.

Transformation: The trephination symbol and Libra degree influence suggest breaking through barriers and balancing personal drive with relational harmony.

Challenges: Potential for escapism (Sabian), rigidity (Saturn’s fall), or overemphasis on relationships (Libra degree) if not grounded.

Natal Chart Application: A planet at 19° Aries indicates a person with strong leadership potential, creative vision, and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities. They may need to guard against detachment or impulsivity.

Transit Application: When a planet transits 19° Aries, it’s a time to step into leadership, pursue visionary goals, or release outdated patterns, especially with the Sun’s exalted energy.

Additional Notes
Critical Degree Status: 19° Aries is not a critical degree (critical degrees for cardinal signs are 0°, 13°, 26°). However, its association with the Sun’s exaltation gives it significant potency.

Aries Point Connection: The Aries Point (0° Aries) is a point of public recognition, but 19° Aries is more about personal radiance and inner transformation, though it can still attract attention due to the Sun’s exaltation.

Historical Context: Greig’s Planetary Harmonics are noted for historical chart analysis. If studying a historical figure with a planet at 19° Aries, this degree might highlight their leadership or transformative impact (e.g., a figure like Frederick Douglass, active in the 19th century, could have such a placement symbolizing abolitionist vision).

Blain Bovee
Blain Bovee, in The Sabian Symbols & Astrological Analysis (2004), focuses on the Sabian Symbol for 19 Taurus (rounded up to the 19th degree, as is standard for Sabian Symbols). The symbol is "A newly formed continent rising out of the ocean." Bovee interprets this as a primal, creative emergence, symbolizing new foundations, raw potential, and the birth of something enduring. It suggests a process of grounding visionary ideas into tangible reality, with an emphasis on stability and long-term growth. The degree may indicate a person or situation involved in creating something new and substantial, often requiring patience and persistence.

John Sandbach
John Sandbach, in Dwadashamsas: Degree Analyses and Deeper Meanings (1978) and Degree Analyses Part II: Chandra Symbols (1984), works with Chandra Symbols, which are intuitive and karmic in nature. For 19 Taurus, the Chandra Symbol is not directly quoted in the provided sources, but Sandbach’s approach emphasizes the spiritual and psychological layers of each degree. Based on his methodology, 19 Taurus likely reflects a theme of manifesting material security through spiritual grounding, possibly involving overcoming inertia to achieve lasting results. His interpretations often highlight karmic lessons tied to the degree’s energy.

Ellias Lonsdale
Ellias Lonsdale, in Inside Degrees: Developing Your Soul Biography Using the Chandra Symbols (1997), builds on Sabian and Chandra Symbols. For 19 Taurus, Lonsdale’s Chandra Symbol is "A crown turns into goat horns." He interprets this as a shift from external authority or prestige (the crown) to raw, instinctual power (goat horns). It suggests a need to embrace one’s primal nature and authenticity over societal expectations. The degree may indicate a struggle between material success and inner truth, with potential for profound personal transformation if the native aligns with their core essence.

Marc Edmund Jones
Marc Edmund Jones, a key figure in Sabian Symbols, introduced the symbol for 19 Taurus in Sabian Symbols in Astrology (1953): "A newly formed continent rising out of the ocean." Jones sees this as a symbol of "Originality" (his keyword), representing the emergence of new possibilities and the creative power to build something enduring. It suggests initiative, vision, and the ability to manifest new structures or ideas. However, Jones warns of a negative tendency toward "a breaking up of things or a loss of self in trying to establish too much too fast." This implies overreaching or instability if the creative process is rushed or lacks grounding.

Isidore Kozminsky
Isidore Kozminsky, in Zodiacal Symbology and Its Planetary Power (1917), assigns 19 Taurus the symbol: "A gaudily dressed herald blowing a trumpet." Kozminsky interprets this as a person who seeks attention and recognition, often with a flair for drama or public expression. The native may be charismatic and influential but risks superficiality or overemphasis on appearances. The degree is linked to Venusian qualities, suggesting charm but also potential vanity.

Dane Rudhyar
Dane Rudhyar, in An Astrological Mandala (1973), reinterprets the Sabian Symbol for 19 Taurus: "A new continent rising out of the ocean." Rudhyar emphasizes "The surge of new potentiality after the crisis." He sees this degree as a transformative moment where new opportunities emerge after a period of upheaval. It symbolizes the birth of new forms, whether personal, social, or cultural, with a focus on creative potential and renewal. Rudhyar’s interpretation is optimistic, suggesting the native can harness this energy for significant growth, though it requires stability to sustain the new creation.

Sepharial
Sepharial, in The Degrees of the Zodiac Symbolised (circa 1907), draws from La Volasfera for 19 Taurus: "A dark, moving column stands erect and alone." This symbol suggests isolation, strength, or a mysterious force. Sepharial interprets it as a person of intense focus, possibly secretive or standing apart from others, with a powerful inner drive. The degree may indicate resilience but also a tendency toward aloofness or detachment.

Charubel
Charubel (John Thomas), in The Degrees of the Zodiac Symbolised (1893), gives 19 Taurus the symbol: "A person climbing a steep, rough, stone stair." This represents effort, perseverance, and the struggle to achieve a goal. Charubel sees the native as someone who faces challenges head-on, with determination to rise above difficulties. The degree suggests hard work and discipline but warns of exhaustion or frustration if the climb is relentless.

Esther V. Leinbach
Esther V. Leinbach, in Degrees of the Zodiac (1973, revised 2001), provides empirical interpretations. For 19 Taurus, she describes a degree of material stability and persistence, often linked to financial or physical security. The native may excel in building tangible assets but could become overly attached to material comforts, resisting change. Leinbach’s approach is practical, suggesting a strong work ethic but potential rigidity.

Janduz
Janduz, in Les 360 degrés du Zodiaque (1930), assigns 19 Taurus the symbol: "A woman holding a lyre, singing near a river." This evokes artistic expression, harmony, and emotional depth. Janduz interprets it as a degree of creativity and sensitivity, with the native finding inspiration in nature or beauty. However, there’s a risk of becoming lost in idealism or escapism if practicality is neglected.

Ada Muir
Ada Muir, in The Degrees of the Zodiac Analyzed (1967), describes 19 Taurus as a degree of practical creativity, where the native combines artistic or visionary talents with a grounded approach. The symbol often involves building something lasting, such as a home or legacy. Muir emphasizes balance between inspiration and discipline, warning against laziness or overindulgence.

Adriano Carelli
Adriano Carelli, in The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac (1951, 2004 reprint), gives 19 Taurus a symbol of "A richly dressed man throwing gold coins into the street." Carelli interprets this as generosity, wealth, or a desire to share resources, but with a risk of extravagance or seeking approval through material displays. The native may be charismatic and influential but must guard against wastefulness or superficial motives.

Peter J. Weber
Peter J. Weber, in Zodiac Degrees (1989), links 19 Taurus to fixed star influences and personality traits. He describes it as a degree of endurance and determination, often tied to material success or leadership. Weber’s empirical approach suggests the native is reliable but may struggle with inflexibility or resistance to new ideas, especially under stress.

Franz Bardon
Franz Bardon’s degree symbols, as referenced in astrological software like Planetdance, are less documented in the provided sources. However, Bardon’s system is esoteric and tied to spiritual archetypes. For 19 Taurus, the symbol likely emphasizes manifestation through spiritual discipline, with a focus on aligning material goals with higher purpose. The degree may warn against materialism or ego-driven pursuits.

David Cochrane
David Cochrane, in Astrology for the 21st Century, uses a harmonic-based approach, theorizing that degree meanings derive from the 12th and 30th harmonic signs. For 19 Taurus, Cochrane assigns it qualities of Scorpio-Virgo (12th harmonic) and Libra-Leo (30th harmonic), suggesting a blend of analytical depth, service-oriented focus, and creative self-expression. The native may excel in transforming resources or ideas but could face challenges with control or perfectionism.

E.C. Matthews
E.C. Matthews, in Fixed Stars and Degrees of the Zodiac Analyzed (1968), focuses on fixed star influences. For 19 Taurus, Matthews notes proximity to fixed stars like Zaurak (in Eridanus, near 19° Taurus), which can indicate melancholy or introspection. The degree suggests a serious, reflective nature, with potential for deep insight but a risk of isolation or pessimism.

Vedic Astrology Perspective
In Vedic (sidereal) astrology, the 19th degree of Taurus corresponds to a different zodiac position due to the precession of the equinoxes (ayanamsa). Using the Lahiri ayanamsa (approximately 24° difference in 2025), 19° Taurus tropical shifts to roughly 25° Aries sidereal. This falls in the Bharani nakshatra (13°20' to 26°40' Aries), ruled by Venus and associated with transformation, creativity, and intense experiences. The deity Yama (god of death) governs Bharani, suggesting themes of rebirth, discipline, and confronting limitations.
Positive Traits: Bharani at 25° Aries indicates strong creative potential, determination, and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities. The native may excel in artistic or leadership roles, with a knack for manifesting ideas.

Negative Traits: The degree can bring impulsiveness, stubbornness, or a tendency to overindulge in pleasures. Bharani’s intense energy may lead to struggles with control or emotional extremes if not balanced.

Context: The specific pada (quarter) of Bharani (4th pada, 23°20'–26°40' Aries, ruled by Jupiter) adds optimism and wisdom but may amplify restlessness or overconfidence.

Vedic astrology focuses on nakshatras and planetary placements rather than individual degree symbols, so the interpretation is more general unless specific divisional charts (e.g., D-60) are analyzed.

Negatives According to Jones, Lynda Hill, and Martin Goldsmith
Marc Edmund Jones
As noted, Jones’s Sabian Symbol for 19 Taurus is "A newly formed continent rising out of the ocean" (keyword: Originality). The negative aspect, per Jones, is "a breaking up of things or a loss of self in trying to establish too much too fast." This suggests a risk of overambition or instability, where the native’s desire to create or innovate leads to fragmentation or failure if not approached with patience and structure. The new continent may collapse if its foundations are rushed.

Lynda Hill
Lynda Hill, in 360 Degrees of Wisdom: Charting Your Destiny with the Sabian Oracle (2004), interprets the Sabian Symbol for 19 Taurus as "A newly formed continent rising out of the ocean." Hill emphasizes the emergence of new opportunities and the need for patience to solidify gains. The negative side includes "expecting the emerging to be immediately complete" or "feeling that the new has nothing to offer." This implies a risk of impatience, disillusionment, or dismissing potential if results aren’t instant. The native may also struggle with unrealistic expectations or fear of change, hindering the creative process.

Martin Goldsmith
Martin Goldsmith, in The Zodiac by Degrees (2004, revised 2015), also uses the Sabian Symbol "A new continent rising out of the ocean." Goldsmith sees it as a degree of creative vision and material manifestation, often linked to pioneering efforts. The negative traits include "overblown plans; castles in the air that fail to materialize; utopian schemes that falter due to impracticality." Goldsmith suggests the native may be prone to grandiose ideas that lack practical grounding, leading to wasted effort or disappointment. There’s also a risk of becoming overly attached to the vision, ignoring real-world limitations.

The 19th degree of Taurus is rich with themes of creation, endurance, and transformation across various systems:
Western astrologers (e.g., Jones, Rudhyar, Bovee, Hill, Goldsmith) emphasize the Sabian Symbol of a new continent, symbolizing originality, new beginnings, and the need for patience to manifest lasting results. Other systems (e.g., Kozminsky, Janduz, Carelli) highlight charisma, creativity, or generosity, while Charubel and Sepharial focus on effort or isolation.

Vedic astrology places this degree in Bharani nakshatra (sidereal 25° Aries), suggesting transformation, creativity, and intensity, with risks of impulsiveness or overindulgence.

Negatives (Jones, Hill, Goldsmith) center on IMPATIENCE, overambition, or impracticality, where the native’s visionary drive may falter without grounding or realistic planning.

19 Gemini Symbols: “The Golden Fleece hanging in a garden” (Omega) and “A book with a golden binding” (Chandra)
To ensure accuracy, let’s explore Sandbach’s actual symbols for 19 Gemini, as they align with his published work and provide context for your query.
Omega Symbol: “The Golden Fleece hanging in a garden”
Explanation:
Mythic Quest: The Golden Fleece, a symbol from Greek mythology, represents a coveted treasure requiring a heroic journey (Jason and the Argonauts). Its placement in a serene “garden” juxtaposes adventure with tranquility, suggesting that the ultimate prize is closer than one thinks—perhaps within reach, yet still elusive.

Desire for Transcendence: The oracle’s narrative describes a weary seeker grasping the fleece, hoping to connect with “another world.” This reflects 19 Gemini’s urge for adventure and transcendence, driven by a longing to escape mundane reality. The “other world” is internal, hinting at spiritual or psychological depths.

Carroll tells the story of 'Alice' on boat journey

Illusion vs. Truth: The seeker’s realization that the true fleece lies within, not in the external prize, underscores a key theme: the danger of chasing illusions. The “breeze from the future” stirring as he steals the fleece suggests consequences or glimpses of destiny, aligning with Gemini’s forward-thinking nature.

Spontaneity and Risk: The act of seizing the fleece impulsively reflects 19 Gemini’s responsiveness to opportunity, but the “perilous journey” within warns that true fulfillment requires inner courage, not just external conquest.

Key Themes: Adventure, longing for meaning, the tension between external goals and inner truth, and the transformative power of recognizing one’s own potential.

Chandra Symbol: “A book with a golden binding”
Explanation:
Sacred Knowledge: The “golden binding” elevates the book to a symbol of precious, timeless wisdom, contrasting with ordinary knowledge. It suggests that 19 Gemini is attuned to insights that carry spiritual or universal value, accessible through curiosity and study.

Inner Wealth: Sandbach’s interpretation emphasizes “inner wealth,” implying that the native finds fulfillment not in material gain but in ideas, creativity, or understanding. The book’s beauty invites exploration, aligning with Gemini’s love of learning.

Connection to Miracles: The degree’s link to “the realm of miracles” suggests an openness to serendipity. By approaching life without rigid expectations, the native encounters unexpected insights or opportunities, as if the book opens to the right page at the right time.

Hidden Connections: The “strange creatures” from the alternative Chandra Symbol (Lonsdale/Sandbach) tie in here, as both symbols evoke hidden forces (creatures or esoteric knowledge) waiting to connect with the native. The book might represent teachings from these unseen realms.

Key Themes: Intellectual curiosity, spiritual insight, valuing inner riches, and openness to synchronicity.

Integration of Omega and Chandra Symbols
Together, “The Golden Fleece” and “A book with a golden binding” portray 19 Gemini as a degree of questing—both outward (for adventure, treasure) and inward (for wisdom, truth). The native is drawn to what’s extraordinary, whether a mythic prize or a sacred text, but must learn that true fulfillment lies within. The symbols emphasize Gemini’s duality: chasing external stimuli while grappling with deeper meaning. The “miracles” arise when the native lets go of control, allowing destiny to reveal itself through unexpected insights or encounters.
Lonsdale/Sandbach’s “Strange creatures peeking out from behind trees”
Since you’ve referenced this symbol repeatedly, let’s revisit it to clarify its role in 19 Gemini’s narrative:
Explanation (from your earlier source):
Disruption and Awakening: The “strange creatures” represent surprises or shocks that jolt the native out of complacency. They’re not literal beings but metaphors for events, ideas, or synchronicities that challenge assumptions and spark evolution.

Trickster Energy: The degree’s “beguiled, tricked” quality aligns with Gemini’s mercurial nature, but it’s amplified into a cosmic game where destiny plays pranks to push growth. The native’s “innocent, youthful” persona attracts these shocks, as if the universe knows they’re ready for more than they admit.

Destiny’s Call: The “knocking at your door” imagery suggests that transformation comes uninvited, often through back channels or unexpected means. The native must embrace the “scintillating adventure” to access the “vast and unlimited spectrum” of their potential.

Tension of Self: The interplay between the “little self” (hiding in safety) and the “greater self” (seeking destiny) mirrors the Omega Symbol’s tension between.

Integrating with Prior Interpretations
Your queries have explored 19 Gemini through Sandbach (“A book with a golden binding,” “The Golden Fleece”), Lonsdale (“Strange creatures”), Sepharial (“A woman in dejection”), Charubel (“An empty space”), Jones (“A large archaic volume”), and others, with Vedic astrology, the “old books” theme, and negatives from Jones, Hill, and Goldsmith. Leinbach’s perspective adds mental-emotional tension, aligning with some warnings while contrasting others. Let’s integrate:
Comparison with Other Astrologers
John Sandbach (The Circular Temple):
Chandra Symbol: “A book with a golden binding.” Wisdom, inner wealth, miracles.

Omega Symbol: “The Golden Fleece hanging in a garden.” Quest for transcendence, adventure.

Alignment with Leinbach: Sandbach’s “mercurial” brilliance (book’s insights, fleece’s adaptability) echoes Leinbach’s “mental suppleness” and “swift mental action.” Both see 19 Gemini’s potential for profound discovery.

Contrast: Sandbach’s optimism (“miracles”) contrasts Leinbach’s “pain” and “failure” in love. The book offers emotional fulfillment, while Leinbach’s native struggles with feelings, risking “criminal practices.”

Shared Theme: Intellectual pursuit—Sandbach’s book as wisdom, Leinbach’s “penetration” as insight. The “old books” theme ties Sandbach’s book to Leinbach’s mental focus, though Leinbach warns of emotional voids.

Ellias Lonsdale/Sandbach (Strange creatures peeking out from behind trees):
Shocks spurring evolution, trickster energy.

Alignment with Leinbach: Lonsdale’s “swift” destiny shocks mirror Leinbach’s “swift mental action,” both highlighting 19 Gemini’s quickness. The creatures could trigger Leinbach’s “frustration” in love, pushing growth.

Contrast: Lonsdale’s transformative shocks contrast Leinbach’s “sense of failure,” where emotional struggles lead to “dishonest” acts rather than evolution.

Shared Theme: Disruption—Lonsdale’s as growth, Leinbach’s as pain. The creatures might expose Leinbach’s “rational” emotional block.

**Sepharial (A woman stands in an attitude of dejection…)**:
“Great sorrow,” betrayal, “PERILOUS.”

Alignment with Leinbach: Sepharial’s “pain” (“blighted hopes”) and “failure” (“void ambitions”) echo Leinbach’s “pain and sense of failure” in love. Both warn of dire outcomes—Sepharial’s “bereavement,” Leinbach’s “execution.”

Contrast: Sepharial’s fated tragedy contrasts Leinbach’s psychological focus (“too rational”). Leinbach’s “mental suppleness” offers hope absent in Sepharial’s despair.

Shared Theme: Emotional suffering—Sepharial’s woman mourns, Leinbach’s native falters in love. No direct “old books” link, but both suggest lessons from pain.

Charubel (An empty space):
“Mercurial employments,” “weak character,” aimlessness.

Alignment with Leinbach: Charubel’s “mercurial” skills and “weak character” align with Leinbach’s “mental suppleness” and “dishonest practices” from emotional failure. The empty space mirrors Leinbach’s “stumbling block” in love, both suggesting a void.

Contrast: Charubel’s aimlessness lacks Leinbach’s specific “love” focus. Leinbach’s “criminal” warning is harsher than Charubel’s “extraneous influences.”

Shared Theme: Lack of grounding—Charubel’s empty space, Leinbach’s rational-emotional split. The “old books” theme could cast Leinbach’s “penetration” as seeking wisdom Charubel’s native misses.

Blain Bovee, Marc Edmund Jones, Dane Rudhyar (A large archaic volume):
Intellectual heritage, stability, rigidity risk.

Alignment with Leinbach: Jones’ “penetration” into tradition aligns with Leinbach’s “ability to penetrate.” The volume’s wisdom could guide Leinbach’s “mental action.”

Contrast: Jones’ stability contrasts Leinbach’s “pain” and “failure.” The volume risks intellectual rigidity, not Leinbach’s emotional turmoil.

Shared Theme: Knowledge pursuit—Jones’ volume, Leinbach’s “suppleness.” The “old books” theme is central, with Leinbach’s native potentially misapplying it.

**Isidore Kozminsky (A man in a boat…)**:
Adaptability, resourcefulness.

Alignment with Leinbach: Kozminsky’s adaptability echoes Leinbach’s “swift mental action.”

Contrast: Kozminsky’s agency opposes Leinbach’s “failure” and “criminal” risks.

Shared Theme: Versatility, but Leinbach warns of misuse.

Janduz, Muir, Carelli, Weber:
Creativity (Janduz’s lyre), effort (Carelli’s plowing), wisdom (Weber’s manuscripts).

Alignment with Leinbach: Janduz’s expression aligns with Leinbach’s “suppleness.” Weber’s “old books” echo mental focus.

Contrast: Their optimism contrasts Leinbach’s “pain.”

Shared Theme: Communication, with Leinbach’s “love” struggle as a hurdle.

Bardon, Cochrane, Matthews:
Mysticism, harmonics, assertiveness (Bellatrix).

Alignment with Leinbach: Cochrane’s intellect aligns with “suppleness,” Matthews’ boldness with “penetration.”

Contrast: Their discipline opposes Leinbach’s “failure.”

Shared Theme: Mental agility, with Leinbach’s emotional block as a risk.

Leinbach’s focus on love’s challenges sets it apart, aligning with Sepharial and Charubel’s warnings while contrasting Sandbach’s hope and Lonsdale’s growth. The “old books” theme ties to Jones’ volume and Sandbach’s book, suggesting wisdom Leinbach’s native struggles to apply emotionally.
Vedic Astrology Perspective
The 19th degree of Gemini falls in Ardra nakshatra (6°40’ to 20°00’ Gemini), ruled by Rudra, symbolizing turbulence, transformation, and intensity. Leinbach’s interpretation resonates with Ardra:
Alignment:
Ardra’s emotional storms mirror Leinbach’s “pain and sense of failure” in love. The “too rational” conflict aligns with Ardra’s mental intensity clashing with feelings.

The 4th pada’s Cancerian sensitivity amplifies Leinbach’s “stumbling block” in love, making emotional wounds acute.

Ardra’s transformative potential could redeem Leinbach’s “dishonest” risks, turning “suppleness” into insight.

Contrast:
Ardra fosters growth through disruption, while Leinbach’s “execution” suggests collapse. The nakshatra’s breakthroughs contrast Leinbach’s “sense of failure.”

Synthesis:
Leinbach’s native navigates Ardra’s chaos, with “swift mental action” as a gift and “love” as a trial. The “old books” theme (e.g., Sandbach’s book) could offer Ardra’s wisdom to heal.

Ardra connects Leinbach’s emotional struggle to Sandbach’s book (healing wisdom) and Lonsdale’s creatures (transformative shocks), softening the “criminal” warning.
Negatives from Jones, Hill, and Goldsmith
Leinbach’s “pain,” “failure,” and “criminal” risks align with the negatives, with “old books” as untapped wisdom:
Marc Edmund Jones (A large archaic volume):
Negative: Rigidity, tradition-bound.

With Leinbach: Jones’ rigidity could exacerbate Leinbach’s “too rational” approach, blocking love and leading to “failure.” The volume’s wisdom is ignored.

Contrast: Jones’ intellectual trap differs from Leinbach’s emotional pain.

Lynda Hill (A large archaic volume):
Negative: Isolation, snobbery.

With Leinbach: Hill’s isolation mirrors Leinbach’s “sense of failure,” as “rational” detachment alienates. The volume could deepen withdrawal.

Contrast: Hill’s choice contrasts Leinbach’s struggle.

Martin Goldsmith (A scholar lifting an ancient manuscript):
Negative: Obsession, disconnection.

With Leinbach: Goldsmith’s detachment aligns with Leinbach’s “too rational,” risking “dishonest” acts. The manuscript distracts from love.

Contrast: Goldsmith’s mental focus contrasts Leinbach’s emotional risk.

Leinbach’s “execution” echoes Sepharial’s “PERILOUS,” amplifying Jones’ rigidity, Hill’s isolation, and Goldsmith’s detachment into a crisis of love and ethics.
Synthesis: 19 Gemini and the “Old Books” Theme
Leinbach’s 18-19 Gemini portrays 19 Gemini as a degree of mental brilliance (“suppleness,” “penetration”) undermined by emotional failure (“love” as a “stumbling block”), risking dire outcomes (“criminal practices,” “execution”). It aligns with:
Sepharial’s “woman” and Charubel’s “empty space” in warning of vulnerability—Sepharial’s “sorrow,” Charubel’s “weak character,” Leinbach’s “pain.”

Contrasts Sandbach’s book (wisdom) and fleece (destiny), which offer fulfillment.

Lonsdale’s creatures (growth), turning Leinbach’s “frustration” into opportunity.

Jones’ volume (stability), risking Leinbach’s “rational” trap.

The “old books” theme—Sandbach’s book, Jones’ volume, Goldsmith’s manuscript—suggests wisdom Leinbach’s native could use to navigate love, but their “rational” bias hinders. Vedic Ardra mirrors Leinbach’s turmoil, offering transformation.
Practical Implications:
A 19 Gemini placement (e.g., Moon) might excel mentally (“swift action”) but struggle romantically (“pain”), risking ethics (“dishonest”). Sandbach’s book offers insight, Lonsdale’s creatures growth, against Leinbach’s “failure.”

On X (per your notifications query), the native might chase connections (“mercurial”) but feel empty (“love” failure), needing Sandbach’s book to share wisdom.

Negatives Summary:
Leinbach: Pain, failure in love, criminal risks, execution danger.

Charubel: Aimlessness, weak character.

Sepharial: Sorrow, betrayal (“PERILOUS”).

Jones: Rigidity.

Hill: Isolation.

Goldsmith: Obsession.

Sagittarius 19: Pelicans moving their habitat
When a big effort is called for...

All 19th degree symbols carry motifs of extremes of measure. As the 4th degree within a five-fold series, there is a challenge to be met. In each case, the 19th degrees touch on issues that at once both large and small.

The pelican, for example, is a large bird known for its unusually large beak/bill which is capable of carrying large fish. The flexible bottom portion can expand to accommodate very large loads.

But also think of the issue that would motivate having to move habitat. One can imagine encroaching civilization upon wetlands that force wildlife to find another habitat. In human terms, history is filled with stories of peoples being dis-located, having to pack up what they can and move to another land.

Gemini 19 "A large archaic volume" suggests size, volume, yet within there may well be very specific details of importance.

Taken together, individuals with placements in 19 Gemini/Sagittarius, often have stories of immigration, for example, of bringing traditions, recipes, from a homeland to a new world. The idea is one of taking what is valuable and needed. So, try thinking about what you would take, what is absolutely essential for your journey in the face of having to move away quickly. A big issue (having to move) and a small essential (what do you take?).

This is a bit like "The house is on fire, What one item do you save?"

Virgo 19 "A swimming race" suggests having to move quickly in a foreign medium. Speed is essential in racing. But 'race' also means a current such as a strong river current that can sweep you away. Pisces 19 "A master instructing his disciple" alludes to a situation where a student can find him or herself in over their heads from the knowledge a master is conveying. Once again a big matter that can sweep you away, and a small matter... a student attempting to learn bit by bit.

When applying the Sabian symbols, one has to feel the dynamics expressed through core motifs. The 19th degree symbols all open wonderfully when thought of in the ways mentioned.

happen. Such readiness may not be conscious however. Then

Every type of ‘Marriage’ needs to go
through its ups and downs. Bridging generation gaps, altering
prejudices, updating ‘Old’ ideas and breaking social rules can
come as a result of any successful union. Simple expressions of
our heart and mind may be acknowledged in ritual performances
or a ‘Ceremony’ of some kind. This may require a sanctification,
or blessing, from a higher power or authority.
Keywords: Wedding ceremonies. Sanctified unity. Expressions
of loyalty and allegiance. Making sacred vows. Commitment
to a person or project. New ventures involving a lowering of
accepted standards. Breaking social norms. Integration of heart
and mind. Bridging generation gaps. Marriage guidance. Contracts
signed and honored. Handclaspings. Hatch, match and dispatch
ceremonies. Celebrants.
The Caution: Rigidly following established rules at the expense
of new ways that may have greater personal relevance. Forcing
people to come together. Bondage to social expectations.

the expectations of the others.

Kate - MOON

An opossum comes out into the moonlight: The opossum, a nocturnal animal known for playing dead as a defense mechanism, venturing into the moonlight could symbolize someone exposing their true self or vulnerabilities under the scrutiny of others.
Inside-out. Massively vulnerable and strictly unreachable: This suggests a state of being open and exposed while still maintaining a distance or barrier that keeps others from fully understanding or reaching the true self.
A verge in destiny where the innermost soul is revealing its true colors in a magical display: This could represent a pivotal moment in life where a person’s deepest essence is shown, perhaps in a way that feels both enchanting and transformative.
A ritual performance and heavily guarded and veiled all the while: Despite the display of authenticity, there’s a sense of protection and concealment, as if the person is performing a carefully controlled act.
Giving a glimpse of the unarmored underbelly, yet masking so many things: This indicates a selective revealing of vulnerabilities while still hiding aspects of oneself.
Becoming ready to open to threshold states, vastly afraid of myriad dangers: It speaks to preparing oneself to enter new or transitional phases of life, despite fears and potential risks.
Placing a small part of yourself into the light of the shared arena while retaining control over the rest: This is about sharing a part of oneself with the world while keeping other parts private, maintaining a balance between openness and self-preservation.
A testing of the waters with such underlying supersensitivity: The phrase suggests a careful and highly sensitive approach to new experiences or self-disclosure.
There will be a lot more hiding than seeking before you discover how to put yourself forward freely: This implies a journey of self-discovery that involves caution and self-protection before one can confidently be open and authentic.
Face the shadow of your fears, and live to tell about it: Ultimately, the passage encourages confronting one’s fears and emerging from the experience with stories and wisdom to share.

Emotional currents.

Inspiration: Slipping into a swift current is sure to bring moments of being all alone and helpless.

Today: The flow of feeling like a rapid current goes. twisting now down and under, now surge and spray on the top.

Consider yourself a swimmer navigating current and undertow. You can choose the rapid changes and thereby come up for a breath or two, or you can feel the victim, pulled under, weakness exposed.

The trick is to keep your head up, without resisting the current. Touch what arises in feelings and emotion, release to the river and breathe again.

It is said the mystics feel this way when immersed in the river of prayer.

Earth Element – Mutable

The formula is: sustaining-practical-efficient-generalizing-habitual-responsible.

Dr. Marc Edmund Jones provides the official meaning of this Sabian symbol in his work, The Sabian Symbols in Astrology:

Virgo 19° A Swimming Race

This is a symbol of the utter impartiality of existence in any larger dimension, and of the stimulus of direct competition whenever an individual seeks to perfect or enjoy some one of the special skills comprising his individuality. He discovers that it is necessary to control every separate factor of his being, or else be ruled by the divergencies which make them up apart from their function within himself. Life superficially remains in unstable balance, and survival is in the terms of that effectiveness or excellency which is best able to prove itself.

The Keyword is ELIMINATION.

When positive, the degree is man’s capacity for any extreme of self-pointedness he may find valuable in a given case, and when negative, inadequate self-dramatization.

Concentration v Look around and see the bigger picture..smell the coffee do NOT over think and get LOST in your own world.tOO busy..over work, workaholic, selfish or at least self absorbed by Greg Young

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Virgo 19: A SWIMMING RACE

You may find yourself in competition over emotional issues or working your way through shared emotions and hoping to win, or to come out on top. It is through training and practice and the controlled use of your emotions that success can be achieved. It is this experience that you must call on now. Work hard at achieving the win for rewards in the larger picture (club, school, country) or for winning the race leaving purely personal gains behind may be the answer.

Have you determined your outcomes? Have you got goals in mind? Are you competing in the race? Do you feel like you’re on the sidelines? Are you feeling the heat of competition? Are you sticking to your ‘lane’? Do you sense that others are ‘competing’ with you, even though you just want to get on with your own race? Are you tired from having to push yourself? Do you, perhaps, need more physical, emotional or spiritual training?

Looking sideways to see how others are coping with the strain of competition. Competing with one’s emotions. Wanting to be first at everything.

The Caution: Allowing the competitive spirit to dominate emotional sensitivity. Always going for “the win”.

Pisces 19. A man tilling a field of flax. (Omega Symbol) manifesting/responsible

(Degree Angel: Umabel (OO-ma-BEL) Water, Affinity and Friendship)

This degree emanates the energy of emotional healing, helping others to clear traumas and other heavy frequencies out of the astral body. It tends to do this with little conscious awareness of what it is doing, but the result is helping others to become more in touch with their inner self in a soft, gentle manner which brings renewal and reconnection with the light of spirit.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Palm trees laden with dates.” Here is immense sweetness and rich nourishment flourishing in the desert. This degree carries within itself a wondrous abundance that manifests in may different forms – intuitive insight, understanding, compassion, and the ability to uplift others being a few of them. All this degree needs to do is to distribute these gifts, to not repress them, or question their value, but simply to share what the spiritual light has provided.

Pleiadian Symbol: A teacher interrupting his brilliant pupil’s piano playing.

Azoth Symbol: Little whirlpools of dust in the twilight.

Seed degree: Scorpio 18. Something waking for a moment in a cocoon. (Omega Symbol). Tuning in to the process of change at work in our lives, we are drawn increasingly to finding ways to cultivate and enhance it.

People holding hands around a table. One candle is burning in the middle of the table. (Chandra Symbol). Through communion with others in a light-filled manner, we discover all sorts of nourishment, gifts, and possibilities.

Fulfillment degree: Aries 30. A crown which causes one to levitate. (Omega Symbol). Pain, suffering, and darkness are gradually eliminated and eventually we are surprised at our own lightness.

An anatomist delivers a lecture on the kidneys. (Chandra Symbol). As we realize more and more the abundance at our disposal, we are able to clear our emotions and let go of fear.

Pisces 20. A truck stop specializing in Gnostic texts. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Inspired

(Degree Angel: Iah-hel (EE-a-HEL) Parent – Teacher not Preacher, Desire to Know)

A sense here of being complete out of touch with what is around oneself, but this being a very life supporting thing, for one is functioning as a portal to other realms. What this degree has to offer may often be overlooked or rejected by others, but tends to not elicit strong negative reactions because it is so otherworldly as to be incomprehensible. To those in need of what it has to offer there is wonderful refreshment and relief in knowing that this fabulous other universes exist and can be visited.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A perfect black cube sits alone in the desert.” This degree is dedicated to being itself without compromise, and doing this has most likely produced some degree of isolation from the rest of the world. The question is this: what is the value of such ISOLATION? On the one hand, it can be a very effective way to maintain PURITY, and to encourage others to maintain their own integrity also. It can also evoke curiosity in others, which, as they pursue this individual who has so ISOLATED himself can learn much about their own self. On the other hand, this isolation can be just a form of rigidity born out of fear, pride, haughtiness, etc.

The truck stop of the Omega Symbol together with the gnostic texts it’s selling represents the clashing of two extremely different worlds. This may be unseemly, and jarring. It may amount to nothing – the gnostic texts may remain unsold and have to be returned to the publisher or thrown in the dumpster out back. But at least someone tried something radically different. Maybe even if this fails it might be better than blank perfection sitting alone in the desert. The fact is, as this degree evolves it will inevitably experiment with both paths.

Pleiadian Symbol: Under a tree a table laden with nuts, berries, and other natural and raw foods.

Azoth Symbol: Clouds taking on strange patterns that seem to mean something.

PISCES 19
Palm trees laden with dates.
Soul faculties. Precious jewels carried from before held intact and inwardly rooted within. Absolutely saturated with psychic faculties, inward understandings, and special feelings for the whole of existence. All of this is held under and accessed when most deeply needed. To bear such wonders within your core nature is to be complete and whole. It is to want for nothing. It is to have so much to offer that the supply can never be exhausted. It is to be a source, an oasis in yourself, and to remain at peace in communion with what you have always known, which is so very timeless that its relevance and uses are entirely the same as ever and always will be in any world.
Useful in Horary or other predictive techniques

0-1 Taurus = Permanent

15 degree in fixed signs = linked to misfortune

Uranus on 25 degrees in Aquarius is a strong indication for becoming a good astrologer, Aswell as having Sun on 25 degrees in Aquarius.
But on the otherhand, 25 degrees is also linked to alcoholism. Having a planet on 25 degrees in Leo is violent. Prominent alcoholics have planets on 25 degrees in the fixed signs.

29 degrees: it indicates karmic completion towards that planet. It indicates an ending of events in life (in solar or lunar chart). It also symbolizes urgency towards the energy of the planet on the 29th degree. So watch out for poorly made decisions.

Amplified Degrees in the Sings
Cardinal signs (aries, cancer, libra, capricorn): 0, 13, 26 degrees
Fixed signs (taurus, leo, scorpio, aquarius): 8, 9, 21, 22 degrees

When a planet or angle is on a certain degree in that certain sign, you can expect more focus on that area in your life. For example: I have Moon on ~4 degrees in Virgo, in 6th. And yes my emotions are strong and very connected to my health.

==============================================

You will find that in the different articles I post, a couple of the fixed stars vary by one degree.
*Also, I've read to only allow a one degree orb when using fixed stars .)
DEGREES AND FIXED STARS OF THE ZODIAC
0-1 DEGREES OF ALL SIGNS MEANS BEGINNING SOMETHING IN PREDICTION.

29 DEGREES OF ALL SIGNS MEANS ENDING SOMETHING IN PREDICTION.

0-1 Degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are extremely critical degrees, in predictive astrology; always a jump start, so to speak. These are the four cardinal signs; the solstice points of the Zodiac. What has begun, may or may not last. Cardinal signs indicate strong beginnings, but lack the stability of the fixed signs or the adaptablity of the mutable signs. 0-1 of Libra oftentimes signifies the beginning of a relationship in predictive astrology.

0-1 Degrees of Taurus is always permanent, in prediction, for good or bad.

0-1 Degrees of Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius is long lasting. Fixed signs signify permanence, stability and things that last. What has begun will more than likely last, in prediction.

0-1 Degrees
of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are beginnngs subject to change. Mutable signs always signify adaptability, restlessness and change. What has begun is subject to chages in prediction

29 Degrees
of Pisces is a permanent ending in predictive astrology, as is 29 degrees of Taurus.

13 and 26
Degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn give special importance to the planet(s) or house cusps occupying the degree. The affairs ruled by the planets, the affairs ruled by the houses ruled by the planets or by the houses these degrees are on point to something of the above mentioned occuring in the life of the chart owner.

9 and 21
Degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius -Same as the above, with a tendency to misfortune. 21 Degrees of Scorpio is a definite loss Natally or in prediction, the loss is not always negative.

4 and 17
of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are similar to the 13 and 26 Degrees of the Cardinal signs, mentioned above.

15 Degrees of Leo
is one of the worst degrees in the zodiac. Either natally or in prediction. Prominent in the charts of serial killers, felons serving life sentences, hard luck, etc. Helen Keller- blind/deaf had her chart co-ruler, Mars at 15 degrees of Leo, along with no air signs. (Air signs are communication).

25 degrees of Leo
is violent, many people in prison for violent crimes have their chart rulers on this degree. Also, this is not a good degree for a planet to be on in a predictive chart. Problems will result from this placement according to the affairs it rules and/or house it is in. This is a very strong degree of alchoholism. Many who are chronic alcoholics have prominent planets on the 25th degree of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius. Especially strong if Neptune is involved

15 Degrees of Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius
are also unfortunate, but not to the extent as 15 degrees of Leo,one of the worst degrees in the Zodiac.

16, 17, 18, 19, 22 and 25 Degrees of Taurus are all degrees of violence.

9 Degrees of Gemini- degree of homocide.

17 Degrees of Gemini- degree of homocide.

6 Degrees of Cancer
possible physical disability and to a lesser extent, 6 degrees, Libra, Capricorn and Aries. Especially if the planet occupies the first house.

6 Degrees of Leo/Aquarius
is bad for eyesight.

12 Degrees of Leo,

(sorry, I dont have the links. These were all in my files. You'll probably want to print them out.)
Generally, the only ones I look at are the ones listed in Anthony Louis' book Horary Astrology Plain and Simple. He provides a longer list of stars in an appendix.

Caput Algol: Signifies "losing one's head" over a matter...either figuratively, or literally. Very malefic. Jacobson qualifies the influence of Algol by implying that a significator must suffer additional affliction for Algol's to be fully felt.

Alcyone: Also very malefic.

Regulus: Traditionally called "Cor Leonis," or the Heart of the Lion, this is, according to Louis, "the most benefic star in the universe." The star gives wealth, glory, victory.

Vindemiatrix: Traditionally, the star of widowhood. Malefic. According to Jacobson, especially significant in questions about domestic issues.

Spica: Benefic. Lies in the Via Combusta (15° Libra to 15° Scorpio). A planet within a 1° conjunction of Spica is protected against the heat of "the fiery way."

Arcturus: Lies at 24Lib14. Benefic. Same helpful influence as Spica.
For a more comprehensive list of fixed stars, consult The Fixed Stars website.
Other Malefic Degrees

Serpentis: This is always at 19° Scorpio; it does not change. Traditionally, it is regarded as, "The cursed degree of the accursed sign." According to Jacobson, this degree is particularly relevent in questions concerning partnerships, and the acquisition of animals.

Pleiades. 29 Taurus. "The Weeping Sisters." Malefic. A planet or angle here suggests that there will be something to cry about.
22° Leo. A degree listed by Anthony Louis, and signifying a tendency to be the agent of one's own undoing, or to work against oneself.

Just taking a look at what they have to say about the fixed star, caput algol conjunct my Sun.
Ummmm..........
ALGOL-- 26TA07 -- #3733 -- mag variable
Algol represents the severed head of Medusa, held in the hand of Perseus. The name is from Ra's al Ghul, the Demon's Head, aka Caput Algol and Caput Medusae; known as Lilith by the Hebrews and Tseih She (piled-up corpses) by the Chinese.
Influence: Algol is all the passion and intensity of the feminine which can be used effectively or destructively. Ptolemy gave it the nature of Saturn & Mars, causing misfortune, decapitation, hanging, a violent nature, and was thought to be the most evil star in the heavens. Medically, this is a double star - one has Saturn qualities and the other Mars/Uranus/Pluto ones. Most deadly of all fixed stars, it exerts a tragic influence, and may bring on chronic illnesses, dental problems, arthritis.

CAPUT ALGOL - [26 Degrees of Taurus]
Here is one of the most violent stars in the zodiac. In natal charts, this gives a most violent disposition, with murderous tendencies. This is intensified when intoxicated. The mean viscious drunk. On the upside, it bestows athletic ability. The intense nature, when sublimated, can give the drive to reach the top. Olympic gymnasts, Shannon Miller and Olga Korbut are examples here. When conjunct the descendent, violence will come from others, especially the lover or marriage partner.

Caput Algol: Signifies "losing one's head" over a matter...either figuratively, or literally. Very malefic. Jacobson qualifies the influence of Algol by implying that a significator must suffer additional affliction for Algol's to be fully felt.

I have many more fixed star 'afflictions' in my chart. I dont know what to make of these interps. I could relate some of it to me, but not all. It's interesting to say the least.

26Taurus -
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - I could kiss you for all this EXTREMELY HELPFUL information. You are a godsend. Most of the day yesterday looking for information and I didn't get 1/4 of what you posted. I really appreciate you taking the time out to do this.
I'm actually starting to work on figuring out where these fixed stars fall on my chart - OH MY GOSH - you gave me their numbers too?! xoxoxo, really. you have no idea how helpful all of this is to me.

actually, it's funny because it all started with the US forecast from Maya Del Mar via TOHTWAVES for yesterday - it said "TUESDAY JUNE 7. This is an odd day. Moon is still in nervous Gemini, and we may awaken feeling irritable and feisty. This mood is apt to continue until Moon goes VOC at 2:50 p.m. EDT. Perhaps we can harness this underlying irritability through applying ourselves to work which requires much energy, either physical or mental.

At 8:46 p.m., Moon enters emotional Cancer. Shortly afterwards, half of the planets are especially active, indicating that tomorrow will be a big day. This day is also strongly affected. Sleep may be difficult tonight.

One of the influences heightens imagination and sparks the creative impulse. The other influence can be disruptive to communication, e.g., power struggles, equipment problems, and accidents. It may encourage changing our minds about something important. Or hidden information may come to light. With Moon in Cancer, we may feel threats to security. Washington DC shows the possibility of a destructive influence via fixed star Algol."

when i read it - "what is algol?" was the only thing ringing in my head.

then, when i started reading about it - i said - okay, this is a good start. fayte brought up in another forum past lives and i have this reoccuring thought that my head was cut off in my past life and the reasoning behind my "beheading" which reverberated to my current life's purpose so...........i think this would be really good for me to go through.

I know that their were several negative connotations to what fixed stars represent in a person's chart but i say - hey, I figured that as "stuck" as i feel in my life at this moment - moving forward with my life's path........looking to where the fixed stars fall in my chart could really help me get unstuck by acknowledging, encouraging and then applying it. I'm ready to move forward and put myself out there so - hopefully i could get a lot of confusion out of the way.

THANKS AGAIN 26TAURUS - and thanks for the very warm welcome.

Peace and Blessings

Good stuff!

You are so welcome amisha!! Glad I could help you out! I knew that info would come in handy one day! Yes, I agree. This info could help you get unstuck. I like it when people use things to their advantage, and dont get caught up with the negative aspects of certain interpretations.
It's here to help us become better people.
Take care.

Aquarius 19 (18° - 19°)
DEALING WITH EMERGENCIES
Most of us have to cope with a sudden and unexpected situation that we must handle well in order to avoid a destructive outcome
"Dealing with emergencies"
We will face crises. Before they arise we may think we could not cope, but whatever comes to us is within our capacity to handle one way or another. It is a mark of faith that we believe that this is so, and perhaps it is the faith that makes it so. Life is certain to present challenges that we must rise to, because if it does not then we cannot rise. On occasion therefore we must pull out all the stops and do whatever is needed to get back on top of things.

A FOREST FIRE FINALLY QUENCHED
CALM DOWN AND ENJOY NEW SPACE!
Commentary:
A ‘Forest Fire Finally Quenched’ pictures a situation where enthusiastic drive and zeal can set off an uncontrollable, exciting and sometimes destructive chain of events. The ‘Forest Fire’ can cause a lot of damage and burn up anything that happens to be in its path. There has been no choice but to fight for control and minimize the destruction to the ‘Forest’ and those things in the path of the fire – animals, humans, houses, etc.

Oracle:
In this situation ‘A Fire’ is ‘Finally Quenched’. Any efforts to contain the damage will at last be successful, and some people will find the challenge to have been exhilarating. Regaining control of the environment will lead to things coming back to normal again, but everything, or at least many things, may be changed. Major transformations may have taken place on many levels. It is said that a ‘Forest Fire’ is actually good for the forest as a whole as it makes room for new growth by removing old and dead matter. Farmers burn off their dead crops on a regular basis to recycle the nutrients into the soil so as to nourish the new growth. The ‘Fire’ also destroys the taller plants and trees which crowd out the shorter ones and block the Sun from reaching them (just as our illusions can block us from “seeing the light” of the truth). However, much can be lost in a 'Forest Fire'; there can be threats to life and property. You may find that you have been caught up in a situation, fighting for emotional or physical control. Something that was raging in its intensity has ‘Finally’ been extinguished or satisfied. This may have left you somewhat exhausted, but the exhilaration that can come from surviving such a struggle can leave you transformed and jubilant.
Keywords:
Exuberant feelings that come after struggles. Coming out of an experience with a new sense of commitment or a new understanding of consequences. Getting a bee in your bonnet. Spot fires. Jubilation and release after hard labor. Fighting for control. Sparks getting out of control. Events taking off in all directions. Sexual energy and the containment of it. Ideas that get whipped up and take off at high speed. The ferocity of nature. The calm after the storm. Smouldering passions. Smoke. One-eyed focus.
The Caution:
Giving up too soon and losing it all. Self-defeating delight in drama. Looking back on a situation that got out of control and produced a lot of rubble. Destructive passions. Losing one’s spark. Running out of fuel. Feeling burnt out. Exhaustion and despair at what's lost.

What is to give light must endure burning.
Viktor Frankl
A little fire is quickly trodden out, which being suffered, rivers cannot quench.
William Shakespeare
It is with our passions as it is with fire and water; they are good servants, but bad masters.
Sir Roger L'Estrange
Get excited and enthusiastic about you own dream. This excitement is like a forest fire—you can smell it, taste it, and see it from a mile away.
Denis Waitley
Do not quench your inspiration and your imagination; do not become the slave of your model.
Vincent Van Gogh
Genius is the power of lighting one’s own fire.
John Foster
Contentment consisteth not in adding more fuel, but in taking away some fire.

Misunderstandings, small things grow into huge problems/disputes

“A fire breathing dragon the size of a mouse.” Because all things are equal in the sight of God, there are no such things as details – everything is important. You often feel that certain things are of high significance which most other people deem to be of no consequence. What you need to do is not allow the value judgments of other people to cause you to question or deny your feelings. There is a deeper, spiritual reason why you feel these things to be important, and they need to be attended to in whatever manner you feel would be best.
