Summary of Aquarius 11 by Lyn Birkbeck

Keep Focused On: Committing to your true calling, concentrating deeply on what matters most, and trusting that this focus brings guidance and success. Nothing can stop you when you’re aligned with your purpose.

Watch Out For: Self-absorption or false pretensions leading to meaningless outcomes, and distractions from pursuits not aligned with your heart’s desire.

Love/Relating/Social: This degree points to relationships or social settings that act as a muse, giving meaning to life and stimulating emotional or spiritual growth. Inspiration may come from a person or a dynamic social context.
Keep Focused On: Embracing qualities in others that influence, challenge, uplift, or even hurt you, as these spark inspiration and growth.

Watch Out For: Mistaking manipulation or superficial allure for true inspiration, or assuming inspiration should always feel easy.

Money/Work/Creativity: Work must be personally inspiring to be fulfilling and impactful for others. Without this connection, efforts may fall short.
Keep Focused On: Staying connected to your initial motivation, pursuing or finding a clear vision (essential for success), and inspiring those you work with or serve.

Watch Out For: Confusing your personal inspiration with what resonates for others, or prioritizing external validation over your inner drive.

Karma/Attitude/Health: Life has a spiritual purpose, and staying connected to this purpose—through a muse, guide, or practice like meditation—ensures guidance, healing, and well-being.
Keep Focused On: Maintaining contact with whatever keeps you aligned with your higher purpose (e.g., meditation, creativity, nature), which supports health and fulfillment.

Watch Out For: Following false guides or gurus, or becoming arrogant about your spiritual connection, such as believing you’re more “in touch” than others.

Key Quote: “If a man hasn’t discovered something he will die for, he isn’t fit.”

Vedic Astrology Perspective on Aquarius 11 (10°–10:59°)
In Vedic (Jyotish) astrology, degrees are less emphasized than in Western astrology’s Sabian Symbols, but specific degrees can carry significance based on nakshatras (lunar mansions), padas (quarters), and planetary influences. Aquarius 11 falls within the following context:
Nakshatra: Shatabhisha (6°40’–20°00’ Aquarius), ruled by Rahu (the North Node).
Symbol: A circle or “thousand stars,” representing mystery, healing, and hidden knowledge.

Interpretation: Shatabhisha is associated with introspection, spiritual insight, and unconventional wisdom, aligning with the Sabian Symbol’s theme of inspiration. At 10°–10:59°, this degree falls in the 3rd pada (10°00’–13°20’), ruled by Sagittarius in the Navamsa (divisional chart), suggesting a quest for higher truth or philosophical inspiration. The individual may seek transformative ideas through intellectual or spiritual exploration.

Positive: Healing, innovation, and connection to universal truths.

Negative: Isolation, obsession with hidden knowledge, or erratic behavior due to Rahu’s influence.

Degree Significance: Vedic astrology doesn’t assign specific symbols to each degree like Sabian Symbols, but Aquarius 11’s placement in Shatabhisha suggests a focus on visionary or unconventional pursuits. Rahu’s rulership can amplify inspiration but also introduce challenges like illusion or over-idealism, resonating with Western warnings about false inspirations.

Negative Interpretations by Marc Edmund Jones, Lynda Hill, and Martin Goldsmith
Marc Edmund Jones (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology):
Negative: Jones warns of clinging to unrealistic ideals or delusions. The individual may become so enamored with a vision or inspiration that they lose touch with reality, leading to impractical decisions or failure to act effectively. This can manifest as an inability to distinguish true inspiration from fleeting enthusiasm or self-deception.

Lynda Hill (The Sabian Symbols as an Oracle):
Symbol: “During a silent hour, a man receives a new inspiration which may change his life.”

Negative: Hill cautions against being swayed by external pressures or false ideals. The individual might misinterpret superficial or manipulative influences as true inspiration, leading to misguided actions. There’s also a risk of failing to act on the inspiration due to doubt or distraction, or becoming lost in grandiose fantasies that don’t materialize. ne taking some time out to contemplate, meditate, or just be by themselves. He ‘Receives a New Inspiration’: he has a thought, an idea or an ‘Inspiration’ that is the answer to a dilemma or provides clues of how to proceed with something.
This ‘New Inspiration May Change His Life'—he’s had some deep understanding and it is likely to turn his life around.

Oracle: This Symbol shows the benefits of “getting away from it
all” in order to reassess your life and goals. This ‘Silent Hour’ could
be a short minute, a few hours, or a period of days, etc. What the
Symbol shows is that a ‘New Inspiration’ will be 'Received'. You may
have found that despite racking your brains there’s been no rational
guidance available. It’s important to realize that a lot of internal as
well as external noise needs to be quieted.

Martin Goldsmith (The Zodiac by Degrees):
Symbol: “In a silent hour, a man receives a new inspiration that may change his life.”

Negative: Goldsmith highlights the risk of over-idealization or escapism. The individual may become absorbed in a vision that feels transformative but is impractical or disconnected from reality. There’s also a danger of being misled by charismatic figures or false gurus, leading to disillusionment or wasted energy.

Synthesis and Key Themes
Across interpretations, Aquarius 11 emphasizes inspiration, self-realization, and alignment with a higher purpose or vision. The degree encourages introspection, authenticity, and the pursuit of a personal dream, often through solitude or spiritual connection. Common positives include transformative insights, creative breakthroughs, and alignment with universal truths. Negatives, as noted by Jones, Hill, Goldsmith, and others, center on delusion, impracticality, or being misled by false inspirations. Vedic astrology’s Shatabhisha nakshatra reinforces these themes with its focus on hidden knowledge and spiritual insight, but Rahu’s influence adds a risk of illusion or erratic pursuits.

Known Degree Interpretations of 22° Aquarius
Below are the primary interpretations of 22° Aquarius, drawn from established systems and critically assessed sources, with connections to your context.
1. Sabian Symbols
Source: Developed by Marc Edmund Jones and Elsie Wheeler in the 1920s, refined by Dane Rudhyar in An Astrological Mandala. Sabian Symbols assign a symbolic image to each degree of the zodiac, offering archetypal insights.

Symbol for 22° Aquarius (21°00'–21°59'): A rug placed on a floor for children to play.

Interpretation (Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala):
Theme: Creating a safe, nurturing environment for growth, play, and creativity, emphasizing community and protection within Aquarius’s innovative framework.

Natal: Suggests an individual who fosters spaces for others to explore ideas freely, balancing Aquarius’s detachment with warmth. They may excel in group dynamics or humanitarian efforts, like organizing community initiatives.

Transit: Indicates a time to build supportive structures for innovation, such as launching collaborative projects or social reforms. It warns against aloofness, urging emotional engagement.

Mundane: Reflects societal efforts to provide safety for future generations, like educational reforms or community centers, aligning with Uranus’s progressive vision.

Connection to Your Context:
Jacobs’ Pharmacy: The soda fountain as a communal space mirrors this symbol, fostering social interaction through chilled Coca-Cola (Venus’s pleasure, Mercury’s trade), launched under 28°39' Aries’s visionary energy.

Uranus Square Fortuna: The square’s disruptive innovation aligns with creating new “playgrounds” for success (e.g., Coca-Cola’s novel market), but the rug suggests grounding Uranus’s volatility with Saturn’s discipline (22-23° Virgo).

Weekly Timing Chart: Fits Tuesday (3rd House) for community engagement and Thursday (5th House) for creative play, enhancing Coca-Cola’s and Rioja’s appeal.

2. Chandra Symbols
Source: Developed by John Sandbach, expanded by Ellias Lonsdale in Inside Degrees (1997), blending intuitive and esoteric insights.

Symbol for 22° Aquarius: A woman making lace.

Interpretation (Lonsdale/Sandbach):
Theme: Patience, precision, and intricate creation, reflecting Aquarius’s ability to weave complex ideas into tangible forms. It emphasizes detachment in crafting something enduring, like intellectual or social patterns.

=

90° Dial: 22° Aquarius (322° in 360°, ~80.5° in 90° dial, Mutable section) complements Taurus 28° (6.875°, Cardinal), blending patient innovation (Mutable) with value-driven initiative (Cardinal).

3. Degree Theory (Nikola Stojanovic)
Source: Nikola Stojanovic’s Degree Theory, which assigns specific meanings to each degree, often linking them to zodiac signs or themes. 22° is controversially labeled the “kill or be killed” degree across all signs.

Interpretation:
Theme: Stojanovic claims 22° signifies extreme outcomes, such as danger, transformation, or crisis, potentially involving literal or metaphorical “killing” (e.g., ending old patterns or facing intense conflict). For 22° Aquarius, this might manifest as radical social changes or personal upheavals tied to humanitarian causes.

Natal: Suggests a life marked by intense, transformative experiences, where the individual may confront or initiate significant disruptions, like leading revolutionary movements or facing betrayal. Critics argue this is overly dramatic and statistically unsupported (e.g., not all with 22° placements face such extremes).

Transit: Indicates a time of high-stakes decisions or sudden conflicts, potentially in social or intellectual spheres. For example, a transit at 22° Aquarius might spark a public controversy or a bold reform.

Mundane: Could signal global upheavals, like technological revolutions or social unrest, driven by Uranus’s rebellious energy.

Critical Evaluation:
The “kill or be killed” theory lacks empirical backing and is debated, with astrologers like those on Astrology Weekly questioning its universal application.

It may apply metaphorically to Uranus square Fortuna, where sudden disruptions (Uranus) challenge luck (Fortuna), requiring Saturn’s discipline (22-23° Virgo) to avoid “led dangerously astray” outcomes.

Connection to Your Context: The theory’s intensity could relate to Coca-Cola’s risky debut (cocaine inclusion, later removed) or Jacobs’ stock sale, but Saturn’s grounding mitigated catastrophic outcomes, aligning with Friday (6th House) precision.

Caution: Use this interpretation cautiously, as it risks fearmongering without chart-specific context.

4. Other Degree Systems
Azoth Symbols (John Sandbach):
Symbol: Less commonly cited, but Sandbach’s Azoth Symbols for 22° Aquarius might describe “A scientist observing a rare natural phenomenon.”

Interpretation: Emphasizes detachment, curiosity, and scientific insight, reflecting Aquarius’s intellectual and innovative nature. It suggests a focus on rare opportunities or breakthroughs.

Charubel Symbols (John Thomas, 19th century):
Symbol: “A man turning his back on passion and seeking higher ideals.”

Interpretation: Highlights detachment from personal desires for collective or spiritual goals, aligning with Aquarius’s humanitarianism. It suggests prioritizing intellect over emotion.

Connection: Reflects Pemberton’s shift from medicinal tonics to a commercial beverage, driven by Mercury’s trade and Venus’s appeal, avoiding 22-23° Virgo’s speculative risks.

5. Critical Degree Significance
Source: Per Cafe Astrology and Tarot.com, 21–22° in fixed signs are critical degrees, enhancing a planet’s influence and marking pivotal life areas.

Interpretation:
Natal: A planet at 22° Aquarius (e.g., Sun, Moon) is emphasized, amplifying Aquarian traits like innovation, stubbornness, or detachment. It may indicate a life focused on social reform or technological advancement.

Transit: Transits at 22° Aquarius heighten sensitivity, potentially triggering significant events in the house it occupies (e.g., 11th house for groups, 4th for home).

Mundane: Signals collective turning points, like technological leaps or social movements, as seen in Uranus’s influence.

Connection to Your Context:
Uranus Square Fortuna: The critical degree intensifies Uranus’s disruptive impact on Fortuna’s luck, amplifying sudden shifts.

90° Dial: 22° Aquarius (80.5°, Mutable) squares 22-23° Virgo (38.75°–39°, Fixed), highlighting tension between innovation and structure, resolved through Mercury’s adaptability (Tuesday, 3rd House).

6. Controversial “Kill or Be Killed” Theory
Source: Attributed to Nikola Stojanovic, discussed on forums like Astrology Weekly and Reddit.

Interpretation: Claims 22° in any sign, including Aquarius, indicates extreme outcomes, often linked to violence or transformation. Examples include historical figures like JFK, with Uranus at ~23° Aquarius squaring Mars.

Critique:
Lacks statistical validation and is criticized for sensationalism. Many with 22° placements live uneventful lives, as noted by forum users.

Critical Evaluation
Strengths: Sabian and Chandra Symbols offer nuanced, archetypal insights, widely accepted for their depth, as noted in Inside Degrees. Critical degree theory (21–22° fixed signs) is well-supported for emphasizing planetary influence.

Weaknesses: Stojanovic’s “kill or be killed” theory is speculative, lacking empirical evidence, and risks fearmongering, as debated on Astrology Weekly.

Conclusion
The known interpretations of 22° Aquarius include:
Sabian Symbol: A rug placed on a floor for children to play – Fostering safe, creative spaces for community growth.

Chandra Symbol: A woman making lace – Patient, intricate creation of ideas, suiting Friday (6th House) precision.

Degree Theory (Stojanovic): “Kill or be killed” – Controversial, suggesting extreme transformation, best applied metaphorically to Uranus square Fortuna’s disruptions.

Critical Degree: Enhances planetary influence, marking pivotal moments, as with Coca-Cola’s rise (Sunday, 1st House).

Other Symbols: Azoth (A scientist observing a rare phenomenon) and Charubel (Turning from passion to ideals) emphasize intellectual and humanitarian focus.

These interpretations reflect Aquarius’s innovative, communal energy, amplified by Uranus and grounded by Saturn (22-23° Virgo), avoiding “led dangerously astray” risks. Applied to Jacobs’ Pharmacy, Coca-Cola, and Espartero Rioja, 22° Aquarius underscores their pioneering success through structured creativity. For a specific chart (e.g., May 8, 1886), transit analysis, or midpoint calculation on the 90° dial, provide details, and I’ll refine the response!

Saturn Retrograde Transit: June 29 - November 15, 2024
Saturn stationed retrograde at 19° Pisces 25' on June 29, 2024, and moved back to 12° Pisces 41' by November 15, 2024, when it stationed direct. This transit occurred in Pisces, spanning roughly 7 degrees over those months. In astrology, a transiting planet affects a natal chart through:
House placement: Where Pisces falls in the Sibley Chart.

Aspects: Any angles (conjunctions, oppositions, squares, trines) Saturn forms with natal planets or points.

Retrograde influence: Saturn retrograde emphasizes introspection, delays, and revisiting structural issues.

Step 1: House Placement in the Sibley Chart
With a Sagittarius Ascendant at 12°:
Pisces in the 3rd House: In the Placidus system (commonly used for the Sibley Chart), the 3rd house begins around 10°-12° Aquarius and ends around 10°-12° Pisces, but Pisces largely occupies the 3rd house. The cusp might be late Aquarius or early Pisces, depending on exact calculation, but 19° to 12° Pisces falls squarely in the 3rd house.

3rd House Themes: Communication, commerce, transportation, local governance, education, and the national “mindset.” Saturn here focuses on discipline, structure, or challenges in these areas, and retrograde motion turns the energy inward—reassessing how the nation communicates, trades, or educates itself.

If using whole-sign houses, Pisces would be the 4th house (home, land, roots), but for consistency with Sibley’s traditional use, I’ll stick with Placidus and the 3rd house.
Step 2: Aspects to Natal Planets
Saturn transiting from 19° Pisces to 12° Pisces could form aspects with the Sibley Chart’s planets (using a 8-10° orb for major aspects):
Square to Natal Mars (21° Gemini):
At 19° Pisces, Saturn is 2° from an exact square to Mars; at 12° Pisces, it’s 9°—both within orb, peaking in July 2024.

Meaning: A square is a tense, challenging aspect. Mars in Gemini in the 7th house represents the U.S.’s assertive diplomacy, military partnerships, or public conflicts. Saturn squaring it could indicate frustration, delays, or karmic consequences in foreign policy, trade disputes, or military actions. Retrograde might force a rethink of aggressive strategies or expose weaknesses in alliances.

Trine to Natal Sun (13° Cancer):
Saturn at 12° Pisces is exactly conjunct the Sun’s degree, and at 19° Pisces, it’s 6° off—tightening as the retrograde progresses.

Meaning: A trine is harmonious, suggesting Saturn lent structure or discipline to the nation’s identity and leadership (Sun in Cancer in the 7th). This could mean a period of consolidating national pride, refining partnerships, or steadying the government’s image, though retrograde might delay visible progress.

Trine to Natal Mercury (24° Cancer), Venus (3° Cancer), Jupiter (5° Cancer):
At 19° Pisces, Saturn is 5° from Mercury, 14° from Venus, and 13° from Jupiter (only Mercury is in orb). At 12° Pisces, it’s 12° from Mercury, 9° from Venus, and 7° from Jupiter—tightening toward the Cancer stellium.

Meaning: Trines to these 7th house planets could support diplomatic efforts, economic agreements, or public messaging, though retrograde might slow negotiations or force revisiting past deals.

Opposition to Natal Neptune (22° Virgo):
At 19° Pisces, Saturn is 3° from an exact opposition; at 12° Pisces, it’s 10°—strongest early in the retrograde.

Meaning: Neptune in Virgo in the 9th house ties to idealism, spirituality, or illusions in foreign affairs, law, and higher thought. Saturn opposing it could ground delusions (e.g., over-optimism in global standing) or challenge national myths, with retrograde prompting a sober reassessment of ideals versus reality.

No direct conjunctions occur, and other aspects (e.g., to Moon at 27° Aquarius) are too wide.
Step 3: Retrograde’s National Impact
Saturn retrograde in the 3rd house emphasizes internal review of communication and infrastructure. For the U.S.:
3rd House: Delays or scrutiny in transportation (e.g., supply chains, rail strikes), education policy, or media narratives. Retrograde might mean revisiting laws, trade policies, or public discourse that weren’t working.

Square to Mars: Tension in foreign relations or military overreach, with retrograde forcing a pullback or reevaluation of aggressive moves.

Trine to Cancer Stellium: Support for leadership and partnerships, possibly stabilizing the nation’s image or economy, though progress might stall until Saturn goes direct.

Opposition to Neptune: A reality check on national ideals—perhaps exposing propaganda, legal flaws, or foreign policy missteps.

Real-World Context (June - November 2024)
This period covers the run-up to the U.S. midterm elections on November 8, 2024, and the final months of Biden’s presidency (ending January 20, 2025). Based on trends up to March 12, 2025:
Elections: The 3rd house focus and Mars square could reflect a contentious campaign season—communication breakdowns, voter disputes, or transport issues (e.g., mail-in ballot delays). Retrograde might delay results or force recounts.

Foreign Policy: The Mars square and Neptune opposition suggest friction or reassessment in international affairs—perhaps stalled NATO talks, trade tensions, or a military pullback scrutinized publicly.

Economy/Diplomacy: Trines to the Cancer stellium might stabilize economic partnerships (e.g., trade deals with allies), though retrograde could slow implementation.

National Mood: Saturn in Pisces opposing Neptune might dampen collective optimism, forcing the U.S. to confront harsh realities (e.g., climate impacts, social divides).

Conclusion
Yes, Saturn retrograde in Pisces from June 29 to November 15, 2024, likely affected the U.S. Sibley Chart astrologically:
3rd House Transit: Highlighted communication, commerce, and infrastructure, with retrograde prompting delays or revisions—think election logistics or media struggles.

Square to Mars: Challenged foreign policy or public conflicts, possibly stalling aggressive moves.

Trine to Cancer Stellium: Supported leadership and partnerships, though retrograde tempered progress.

Opposition to Neptune: Forced a reckoning with national ideals versus reality.

Astrologically, this suggests a period of introspection and friction for the U.S., aligning with a pivotal pre-election stretch. Without specific post-March 2025 data, I can’t pinpoint exact events, but the chart implies Saturn retrograde tested the nation’s structure and resilience. Did you notice anything in late 2024 that felt like a Saturnian slowdown or reality check for the U.S.?

A WOMAN IN PASTEL COLORS
CARRYING A HEAVY AND VALUABLE
BUT VEILED LOAD
Commentary: ‘A Woman in Pastel Colors Carrying a Heavy
and Valuable But Veiled Load’ shows someone having to carry,
shoulder or put up with something that is weighing them down.
Although the ‘Load’ may not be comfortable, there is some kind
of perceived reason or reward for hanging onto it. Often in trying
to conceal problems or issues from others, things become more
of a burden. The fact that she’s dressed in ‘Pastel Colors’ reveals
that the ‘Woman’ is a person who doesn’t necessarily want to put
on a dramatic show or draw attention to herself.
Enjoying all that one has in life
right now can lift the spirits and release any burdens. To varying
degrees everyone is carrying some sort of ‘Heavy Load’ which
they try to conceal. Going through the day expressing kindness
and courtesy will leave behind a feeling of warmth and good
cheer for others. Positive attitudes and behavior helps to lighten
the ‘Load’ of everyone struggling with their burdens.

Keywords: Privacy. Quiet determination to get on with the
job. Mild manners. Carrying more than one’s share, gratefully
or grudgingly. Shouldering problems. Bad backs. Victim status
– poor me! Secret pregnancies. Doing overtime. Heavy loads.
Smiling against the odds. Pastel colors. Codes of silence.

The Caution: Covering something up. Trying to conceal distrust.
Keeping one’s thoughts and emotions locked-in creating ill
health and disease. Fading into the background. Not being
noticed or recognized. Feeling weighed down with shame, loss
or humiliation. Wearing dark clothes. Dressing in order to cover
up. Being the family scapegoat. Heavy karma.

I am always keeping an eye on Ceres and I find her interesting on the topic of purity. Anders Brevik didn’t want foreigners in his country – nor did Hitler – they both have Sun Ceres connections as does Epstein- a trine in his case. Maxwell’s Sun is an exact inconjunct to Epstein stationary Ceres. Did she get the attention for bringing him pure girls? Her retro Ceres is also conjunct his Jupiter – in the myth Ceres can negotiate – did Maxwell do this for his entrepreneurial vision I wonder?

Yes. I agree with you, at the heart of this tale is a desire to corrupt purity. I note the Ceres Rx in her chart which creates an earthy Grand Trine — closely Pluto (crime), Mercury (youth), Ceres Rx (the false mother).

One can’t speculate too much about her own childhood, but there is also the idea of being above such things. This article by Marina Hyde https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/aug/23/prince-andrew-appalled-epstein-royal-wedding is quite interesting because of the comparison between princesses and commoners.

CERES IN 2024

Ceres in Capricorn squares the Nodal axis.

Ceres like Pluto is a dwarf Planet, has a very inclined orbit, and can travel way Out of Bounds, more than other planets.

Cosmic Intelligence Agency is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Upgrade to paid

This is the case in 2024, Ceres is in extreme OOB most of 2024.

If we recall at the Aries Ingress 2024, Ceres squared the nodal axis as she does now. If we recall the January 2020 Capricorn build up of planets at 23°, Ceres was right there too.

See more about Ceres in 2024 in latest C*I*A Timelords Magazine

https://cosmicintelligenceagency.com/timelords-magazine-issue-9-2024/

We often find a depiction of Ceres atop Board of Trade Buildings or Stock Exchanges around the world as the goddess of agriculture, she is placed in honour of commodities being exchanged. Ceres in Capricorn indeed!

Ceres now retrograde moves back to square the nodal axis again, exact over the next few weeks. At the same time Ceres reaches her most extreme declination in this cycle to 30° 55' South on August 26th, 2024.

The times are pivotal, as a new weighing and balance hangs in the air.

Kamala Harris, has Ceres at 5° Capricorn, and also OOB at 29° South. On USA election Day , Nov 5th 2024 - Ceres, the Moon and Venus will all be OOBounds and aligned parallel in southern declination.

Ceres was elevated to dwarf planet in 2006 as Pluto was so called demoted to one. This equalising in our solar system reflecting the greater awareness to corporate power, corruption and greed that was shown during the Great Financial Crisis that soon followed.

Like Pluto, although faster moving, Ceres can giveth and taketh away as she initiates us into life's greater mysteries and a rebalance of power and control.

THE HAMMER OF THOR
Most of us know that in Norse mythology, Thor was the god of thunder and he made lightening with his hammer.

The hammer of Thor was the most destructive weapon in mythology. Is there a planet that represents it?

Yes.

It is Sedna.

Sedna is a recently discovered planet. Astronomers classify Sedna as a dwarf planet and there have been dozens of them discovered in the last few years.

But Sedna is not like any of the other dwarf planets. It has the most elliptical orbit of any planet. It is by far the farthest planet that we know about. Sedna is so far away that astronomers calculate it takes 12,050 years for it to orbit the Sun. By comparison, Pluto orbits the Sun every 240 years.

Right now, Sedna is a bit more than 7 billion miles from the Sun and almost as close to the Sun as it ever gets - that is why we were able to discover it in 2003. But Sedna will be 90 billion miles from the Sun in 6,000 years. That is about 35 times further from the Sun than Pluto ever gets.

Because Sedna is so far away and its orbit is so elliptical, the Magi Society believes that Sedna is not from our solar system. We believe that Sedna was a small planet that used to orbit another star, but it somehow escaped the gravitational force of that star, after which Sedna began wandering in outer space. We believe that about 6000 years ago, Sedna became captured by the gravitational force of our Sun and became "part" of our solar system.

So Sedna is really a visitor and not part of our original solar system. This would explain why it is so far away from our Sun.

This would also explain why astrologically speaking, Sedna does not act like any other planet.

Below, we will explain why Sedna is astrologically very different from any other planet and how it really works, as well as what Sedna means and represents.

SYMBOLISMS OF SEDNA
Sedna is the destroyer.

That is why we refer to Sedna as the Hammer of Thor.

Sedna destroys everything in its path. Saturn is also destructive but Sedna is actually more harmful than Saturn is, and Sedna has more destructive power than Saturn does.

This is a monumental discovery!

When Saturn knocks us down, we can usually get back up. If Sedna knocks us down, it follows up by pounding us into the ground - like a pile driver. Sedna is nasty and mean and possesses the instinct of a bloodthirsty killer. Sedna does not want us to be able to get back up after it knocks us down.

Sedna is symbolic of corruption, lies, and immorality of all kinds. Sedna is ruler of economic and social disasters and upheavals, and moral decay.

Sedna represents ILL-GOTTEN gains, wealth stolen from others, profits made illegally or unethically, or at the expense of others. Sedna also represents wealth accumulated from taking advantage of the weaknesses of others.

Sedna is a moral cancer within our society; Sedna seeks to destroy our moral fiber and our very soul.

In business matters, a corporation with strong Sedna aspects is essentially a vulture and will prey on customers who are morally weak, and sell products that corrupt our souls. Sedna promotes violence, horror and terror. (For example, Sedna aspects are plentiful in companies selling pornography and violent video games.)

Sedna is evil.

A Sedna business will leave its customers in the gutter after it has taken all their money and stripped them of self-dignity. (Drug dealers have lots of Sedna aspects in their birth charts.)

Sedna symbolizes drugs and prostitutes, products that promote violence and or emotionless sex.

Sedna is symbolic of anything that is anti-Christian. More than anything else, Sedna hates Christ and Christians.

Sedna has no conscience whatsoever.

"Good transits" by Sedna can bring wealth to the person having them. BUT whenever Sedna helps someone grab the loot, Sedna also corrupts the souls of the persons who are making the money, by making them totally selfish and greedy beyond comprehension. This attribute of Sedna is one reason there is truth to the old adage that money corrupts.

Sedna is ruler of corrupt money.

Sedna is so insidious that it helps nobody. During so-called "good transits" by Sedna, a person will make money - but the profits will corrupt the person's soul to the very core. And then Sedna will eat the person alive.

Bad transits by Sedna are the worst transits you can have when it comes to both your money and soul. One set of bad Sedna transits can cut our personal net worth in half or more. But even worse, bad Sedna transits can make us completely lose our moral compass, making us willing to do anything, even break laws and hurt others, in order to make up our losses.

Compared to Sedna, Saturn is almost tolerable.

Saturn is still the bad planet. But Sedna is the really bad planet and intrinsically evil.

[On our websites, the Magi Society will use the term "Hammer of Thor" or just "Thor" to refer to Sedna because the terms are so fitting.]

SEDNA CLASHES CREATED THE CRASH OF 2008
A few months ago, before the current stock market got really bad, we devoted a whole Certification Workshop to teach our Certification Candidates about the importance of Sedna. We also sounded the alarm about the fact that there were horrible Sedna clashes coming up.

You might be asking, "What is so important about Sedna clashes?"

Sedna clashes are important because Sedna clashes are the astrological key to stock market crashes, recessions and financial turmoil. The worst Sedna crashes are the ones Sedna makes with Financial Planets (Venus, Chiron, Neptune and Pluto) and we call such clashes "Sedna based Financial Clashes."

Every year, we have at least a few "short-duration" Sedna based Financial Clashes made by Venus and Sedna. Obviously, these clashes are not that important because they come and go quickly since Venus moves fast.

But the long-duration Sedna based Financial Clashes can have horrible consequences just like the Hammer of Thor. The longer a Clash lasts, the worse it is. If Sedna makes clashes with Pluto, or Chiron or Neptune,
it creates a long-duration Sedna based Financial Clash and the results can be big problems in the economy and financial markets.

We warned our members three years ago about Sedna - we told them in a link on our 2005 Members Only site that Sedna was the secret cause of the stock market crash of 1987.

The stock market crash of 1987 was primarily the result of a couple of horrible long-duration Sedna based Financial Clashes made between Sedna and Pluto.

The Dot.com crash came when there were several long-duration Sedna based Financial Clashes made between Sedna and Chiron and also Pluto.

During the last 2 years, we have had NINE long-duration Sedna based Financial Clashes made between Sedna and Neptune and also Sedna and Chiron.

That is why we have had the worldwide stock market crash of 2008, and why we are now in the jaws of a recession, and there is worldwide financial turmoil.

How To Predict Bear Markets

T-Squares Are Bearish Planetary Alignments
We can predict when stock prices will fall by analyzing the alignments of the planets.

Below is Magi Astrology Bear Market Principle One:

• When the planets are aligned in such a way that they are going to form a T-Square, there will be selling pressure on stock prices. The more T-Squares there are, the more stock prices will fall. The more exact the T-Square is, the lower the stock prices will fall. The selling pressure will most often peak on the day the T-Square is most exact, or one day before.

This principle of Magi Astrology works for the stock markets of every country.

To illustrate the above Bear Market Principle, we will use as examples the April 25, 2003 low in the Hong Kong stock market, and also four big plunges in US stocks in 2007 and 2008, including the BIG one - the October 2008 crash.

Two T-Squares Pinpointed the 2003 Low in the Hang Seng Index
April 25, 2003 was a very important day for Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index. It made a four-year low that day, and then began a four-year bull market that saw stock prices rise over 300%. On that day, the alignments of four planets made two T-Squares that looked like this in the sky:

[As you can see, we are not using a typical Magi Astrology chart. The reason is this article and the charts were originally created for a magazine and the editors wanted simplified charts that non-astrologers would understand. The original article will be published soon in Traders World Magazine.]

By drawing connecting lines between the positions of four planets, we get two triangles, both of which are isosceles triangles with a right angle as the base angle. (An isosceles triangle is a triangle where two of the sides are the same length.)

Each of these triangles is called a T-Square in astrology. (As you can see, a T-Square is not a square but a triangle. For a weird reason, a long time ago, astrologers named this special type of triangle a T-Square.)

For a long time, Magi Astrologers, and other financial astrologers, have observed that when planets are aligned so they are forming a T-Square, stock prices tend to go down. If the planets form two T-Squares as was the case on April 25, 2003, then stock prices go down further than if there were only one T-Square.

To help you to get an idea of how the Hang Seng Index performed both before and after the planets formed the two T-Squares, below is a chart of that index. (We drew a line pointing to April 25, 2003.)

As you can see from the chart, the Double T-Square formed on April 25, 2003 pretty much pinpointed the exact low the Hang Seng made before a huge bull market began.

T-Squares Successfully Predicted Four of the Last Five Worst Stock Plunges
Pretty much all over the world, there was a strong bull market from the spring of 2003 through the end of 2006, with most stock markets worldwide rising about 100% during that time.

Then in 2007, most stock markets around the world made a top as these stock markets transitioned into bear markets.

From the beginning of 2007 until now, the US equity markets suffered through five distinct stock price plunges, each one worse than the one before, and culminating in the October 10, 2008 momentum low. (A momentum low is the low made when the ratio between advancing stocks versus declining stocks is at its lowest.)

There were T-Squares on the worst days of four of these five stock plunges.

(What happened in the other one? We do not know. The Magi Society does not yet know everything about forecasting stock markets but we are continually conducting research to learn more.)

For your reference, below is a chart of the Dow Jones Industrial Average from the beginning of 2007 until the end of October 2008. We drew thick lines pointing to each of the four worst sell-offs that occurred when there were T-Squares.

All the T-Squares were formed by Sedna and at least one Financial Planet.

Of course the worst plunge in stock prices occurred from October 1 to October 10 in 2008, when the DJIA went into a virtual free fall of 3000 points before making some kind of bottom on October 10. There were actually four T-Squares during those days! This illustration shows them to you.

When you look at the chart carefully, you will be able to see that there were FOUR T-Squares that overlapped each other. The four T-Squares were formed by:

Sedna, Neptune and Venus
Neptune, Venus and Ceres
Venus, Ceres and Sedna
Ceres, Sedna and Neptune

Astrologers have given a special name to the very rare alignment of four planets like the one above. It is called a Grand Cross.

A Grand Cross is comprised of four T-Squares and is essentially an astrological sign that stocks will fall four times as much as they would when there is only one T-Square. The more T-Squares there are, the more stock prices fall.

Exact T-Squares Are Much More Powerful than Approximate T-Squares
There are different "levels" of T-Squares and how powerful a T-Square is depends on how "exact" it is.

Only a very small percentage of T-Squares are "exact" and the rest are "approximate."

An exact T-Square is one where the three angles of the triangle are exactly 45, 90, and 45 degrees, like the sample below:

But you can have an approximate T-Square where the angles are, for example, 43, 92, and 45 degrees and it looks very close to an exact T-Square. In Magi Astrology, we refer to inexact T-Squares as an "Approximate T-Square."

Both logic and our gut intuition would tell us that the more exact a T-Square is, the more powerful it is. This is precisely the case.

The Magi Society's research confirmed that the more exact a T-Square is, the more powerful it is.

Perfect T-Squares that are absolutely exact are unbelievably rare - they almost never occur. So we conducted another research project.

We found that if a T-Square misses being exact by a total of only 1.2 degrees, then the power of the T-Square is still strong enough that for all practical purposes, we can consider them to be Exact T-Squares. For this reason, in Magi Astrology, if a T-Square is within 1.2 degrees of being a perfect T-Square, we call it a "High Level T-Square."

The Magi Society has a term to reference the number of degrees a T-Square is off from being exact; we call it the "delta-from-exact." If a T-Square's delta-from-exact is less than 1.2 degrees, it is a High Level T-Square.

If a T-Square has a delta-from-exact between 1.2 and 2.4 degrees, we call it a Medium Level T-Square.

And a T-Square with a delta-from-exact of 2.4 to 3.6 degrees is a Low Level T-Square.

But if the T-Square is greater than 3.6 degrees from perfection, its power is reduced so dramatically that we call it an "Incomplete T-Square."

Most T-Squares are incomplete, and only a very small percentage of T-Squares are High Level T-Squares.

In the Grand Cross of October 2008, all four T-Squares were High Level T-Squares.

That is one of the reasons why the October 2008 Grand Cross was so powerful. The Grand Cross created the stock market crash of October 2008.

All of this helps to confirm the Magi principle of EXTRAORDINARY PLANETARY ALIGNMENTS, that says:

Extraordinary Planetary Alignments Create Extraordinary Events

In Magi Astrology, we believe that:

Everything that is notable is accompanied by rare planetary alignments
When extreme events occur in the world, they are always accompanied by extreme alignments of the planets.
When an extraordinary person is born, the birth is always marked in the stars by extraordinary alignments.

In the past, astrologers were not able to see all the unusual alignments. But now we can see rare planetary alignments because of the discovery of new planets, and because we can easily see alignments with the Magi Society's advanced computer software.

The Magi Society is the Undisputed Leader At
Making Great Discoveries in Astrology

It's within less than a third of a degree from an exact opposition with the Sibly Sun, which represents the president. He's going to receive a lot of push back from the people. Furthermore, this implies that the nation's solar return, which will be in effect for the coming year, will have nearly identical placements. This does not bode well for the nation much less Trump.

E-Jupiter RX/2nd/Capricorn cnj Pluto RX/2nd/Capricorn opp Sibly Mercury RX/8th/Cancer
There are few things more volatile than a Jupiter - Pluto conjunction. Both are retrograde, which internalizes their energy. Pluto's retrograde behavior is reminiscent of the phoenix, that burns everything to a crisp before rising from the ashes.

Jupiter retrograde tends to focus on ethics issues, which was a target-rich environment. This easily represents what Trump was trying to drain from the swamp, especially in the house of finances, which were clearly involved.

This Jupiter-Pluto conjunction reminds me of years ago when I lived in a small rural town that was the location of seven dairy farms (until most were forced to close by policies instituted by Ronald Reagan, but that's another story.) A common sight was local farmers driving tractors pulling manure spreaders on their way out to the field, dropping cow excrement along the way.

April 2024: Trends and Key Dates

Astrologer Maureen Richmond, Ph.D.

April 2024 promises a month of dramatic happenings, potent insights, and significant personal and cultural transformations. Retrograde Mercury, a total solar eclipse, a Mars-Saturn conjunction, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, and a Mars-Neptune conjunction in late Pisces all combine to pinpoint this month as a journey into deep thought, psychic power, potent telepathic and psychic impressions, primal urges, strong motivations, and creative intensity. That so many potent astrological influences would occur in such a short period of time is unusual. The effects in the human world are certain to be accordingly out of the ordinary.

The month begins with the alterations of perspective and changes of plan which always come when Mercury turns retrograde. The communications planet turns retrograde on April 1 at 27 degrees Aries. Thus, on April 1, the changes of plan and circumstance developing since March 18 (when Mercury entered the retrograde shadow period) will begin to manifest in earnest. Action on changes of circumstance will go into gear on April 1.

[A diagram showing how retrogradation arises.]

Persons with planetary and other placements in their charts located at 16 – 27 degrees of cardinal signs will be most directly impacted by the April 2024 retrograde Mercury period. The cardinal signs are naturally inclined to bold, forceful action which serves to initiate trends and lead the way. This current retrograde Mercury period will emphasize and activate that very tendency, doing so in a way different than the ordinary, however, as a departure from the norm is the nature of the retrograde Mercury influence. As a result, all persons with prominent cardinality in their charts are prone to see interesting developments, as their talents for pioneering leadership are stimulated in a perhaps unexpected manner.

Then, the extraordinarily powerful New Moon of April 8, also a total solar eclipse, takes over. The days immediately preceding the eclipse are likely to be points of deep disconnection, detachment, fatigue, and uncertainty, as is always the case with the closing of the lunar cycle. This time, the effects of the lunar cycle are apt to be greater than ever as the alignment between Earth, Moon, and Sun begins to fall into place for the terrific impact of a New Moon which is also a total solar eclipse.

No sooner does the New Moon take place on April 8 than yet another powerful influence shapes up. Mars arrives at 15 degrees Pisces, to conjunct Saturn on April 10, blending the drive of Mars with the serious pursuits of Saturn, and thus focusing mind and will in the spiritual and psychic field of Pisces.

More is to come. In the human realm, communications get interesting on April 11 with the conjunction between the Sun and retrograde Mercury, always a point of intensity during any period of retrograde Mercury.

[Diagram showing the Sun-Mercury conjunction, as seen from Earth. In this case, Mercury is the “inferior planet,” meaning, the planet closer to the center of the solar system. In April 2024, the Sun-Mercury conjunction is like the diagram on the right in which Mercury passes in between Earth and Sun.]

Then on April 19, retrograde Mercury conjoins with Venus at 17 Aries to spice up the scene of art, human relations, and competitive aspirations.

Near the end of the month, the much awaited conjunction between expansive Jupiter and eccentric Uranus will become exact, sparking creativity, insights, and high motivation.

Moreover, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is so strong that it is sure to affect the several weeks both before and after exactitude, which takes place on April 20. Occurring only once every 14 years, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is a potent rhythmic impulse governing creativity, entrepreneurial drive, inventions, transcendence, and technological innovation. In the individual person, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction evokes courage, the willingness to take risks, an overpowering curiosity about the higher levels of existence, and an eagerness to take on new challenges. As a result, many will experience a jolt of new life energies with the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction of late April 2024. Taking place in the money, asset, and resource oriented sign of Taurus, this Jupiter-Uranus conjunction contains plenty of power for the creation of new methods for the creation of income, financial gain, and material increase.

But that’s not all. On April 28, Mars conjoins Neptune at 29 degrees Pisces, bringing immediacy to the Pisces themes strong throughout March and April of this year. Pisces attunes consciousness to the vast, to the cosmic, to unlimited and unbounded space, even to infinity. It erases the arbitrary boundaries erected by the limited human mind and reveals the astounding world of quantum functioning, synchronicity, and the ocean of existence. This impact from Pisces is sure to dissolve many rigid structures of thought and practice which have held humanity back, setting the stage for the new inspirations of the innovative Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and allowing them to work with far less impediment.

Given that Mercury remains retrograde, however, the full details on the new programs of commerce, investment, and creativity may not be known until Mercury turns direct on April 25. Thereafter, a distinctly helpful Mars-Pluto sextile on May 3 will likely bring the emerging path into focus and operation.

Finally, Jupiter enters Gemini in late May and the game is on, as the field of gain moves from tangible and solid, fixed earth-sign Taurus to social networking and intellectual ferment under airy and mutable Gemini.

VEDIC

March 25 Lunar eclipse 10 degrees 55 minutes Virgo, Hasta
This lunar eclipse is in Virgo conjunct Ketu empowered by the nakshatra Hasta. There is a certain degree of fear in the air as Ketu aligns with the Moon. The Moon can indicate the public and this Moon represents health and healing and a possible health scare.

During this lunar eclipse Mercury is debilitated at 29° of Pisces meaning it is on the edge and gandanta. It is the last degree of the Zodiac meaning things are about to change but currently are completely out of control. Mercury in Pisces can also represent extremes with weather, storms, and floods. It is time to get healthy mentally emotionally and physically.
March 25 Mercury enters Aries
As Mercury enters Aries there is a different feel in the air where people want to move forward quickly and get as much done as they can but little do they know Mercury is about to turn retrograde and this will be a major reversal in so many areas of our lives particularly in global affairs. Don’t make major decisions because circumstances and feelings will change as Mercury changes direction.
March 31 Venus Pisces
Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces therefore it becomes stronger and more potent. This is a time that we will feel more creative and expressive artistically as well as being able to express our love for others.

Take this time to appreciate others coming from a place of compassion, appreciation, and being able to express ourselves fully. It's also a good time to go shopping as there is of vision as to what is beautiful. Use this time to decorate and make things and places more beautiful is key right now.
Our first eclipse for the year is on March 25 at 3:15 PM AWST, 6:15 PM ADST, a full moon annular eclipse with the Sun at 5° of Aries and the Moon at 5° of Libra. This is one of those eclipses that you won't be able to see as its only the shadow of the earth, and not the earth itself, which eclipses the Moon producing only a faint change in appearance.

Energetically, this first one is relatively mild, with few hard aspects. Both Sun and Moon positively activate Pluto, there is a Saturn Venus conjunction in Pisces but one that sextiles Jupiter as well. The toughest aspects will be Venus in a T-square, opposing the Black Moon in Virgo while squaring Persephone in Sagittarius, so we can expect another round of relationship challenges and opportunities to clear out some dark residues around relationship and the feminine that have their origins in generational, cultural and past life sources.

The following eclipse on April 9th in Australia is a far more powerful total eclipse perfectly conjuncting Chiron the Wounded Healer at 19° of Aries. More about this next month.

Have an interesting month and make use of the various healing opportunities.
